This is the best car I have ever had in 37 years. I changed my Landrover Discovery 3 for this new Skoda Superb 2 in white. it has the DSG gearbox and the 175 BHP diesel Engine. The interior has very nice cream leather with wood trim. The car has every type of accessory you could think of. It does over 40 mph on every tank ful. The boot is massive but the room in the rear of this car is the biggest I have ever seen execpt in a limo . Its huge. The biggest problem I have had with this car is telling my friends I have bought a skoda. The stigma in my head was very difficult to overcome but I am so pleased I did, I have had the car now 5 monthsand done 7000 miles and not one single issue. I have never been back to the dealer. A nice touch though the dealer called me after about a month and asked if I was happy and was there anything at all wrong with the car. I was pleased to tell him nothing at all.

Wha would I change, well a rear window wiper could be useful and the sat nav having a full post code seach rather than a partial one. Still it works fine. What I do like is how the sat nav re routes if there are problems ahead so you never get in a jam. The car looks stuniing in white and yes you probably have to clean it a litltle more oftten but its worth it. Oh yes and white is also a free colour .

Well as you can see I am a very happy bunny with my skoda superb II and love every minute I use it.

I have had my Superb 2.0 140 SE manual for 3 months and 5k miles, no faults whatsoever and it gets more economical as time goes on best so far 63 mpg on my daily commute, the kids love the space in the back, (even my wife who a few years ago wouldn't be seen dead in a Skoda is proud to be in it and now owns a Fabia 1.9 TDi Sport). This Superb is an utterly brilliant car, which has replaced a Jaguar X Type 2.2 Diesel, and prievious to that a C Class Mercedes 2.2 CDi, all bought new.

I personally cannot understand how Skoda do it for the money, I will definitely get another, and if I can persuade my boss it will be a 3.6 V6

One thing I have noticed is that Audi drivers seem to take umbrance on the motorway and seem determined to go faster, as any one else come across this?

And onother thing has anyone else noticed that the side profile is so similar to Bentley Continental Flying Spur ? and you see more of those driving around than Superbs.

fantastic just come back from alton towers with the family in the superb 1.9tdi s 56 mph and fantastic drive 270 miles a joy peoples jaws were hitting the ground "no way that cant be a skoda" proud I was grinning inside:thumbup:

Been away for two weeks in France so covered a lot of miles in the car few bad points but nonetheless annoyances but all in all the car has been excellent

Good points

Headlamps conversion - brilliant couldnt be easier ideal solution imo

KMH display on MFD - another simple touch makes life easier

Fully and i mean fully loaded it was still doing 44mpg over a tankful best full to empty gave 46mpg !!

Sat Nav worked flawlessly

Got a lot of attention over in France especially from Octy owners

Alarm didnt go off once , seat stayed where it was so despite it booked in for this week it could be fixed

Bad points

Boot is not as useful as the Octy , struggled to get the same amount of stuff in due to the reduction in height so some items had to be put on the back seat

Paint scratches easily - wife managed to scratch the car twice but i guess the paint is will a little soft
