Everyone seems to be jumping on the bandwagon with this little one. There are at least half a dozen different people doing this on E Bay now.

The information is freely available on this site and if anyone is daft enough to pay for it then they've got more money than sence

In my opinion ;)

Also doesn't work on the Fabia ;)

Chris

This type of stuff really annoys me tbh. Money grabbing bar stewards. I wonder whether anyone would be willing to post the instructions on eBay to thwart their evil money making scam...... I'm not brave enough I'm afraid.

Somebody did...can't recall who...but somebody did.

t'was Greg2032 wasn't it? I'd be damn tempted to sacrifice 15pennies to put the free instructions on again - Anyone else up for it? :D

You go first Jason...... ;)

hmmm, I've never sold anything on ebay yet.

Tell you what , I'll list the instructions for free on ebay later and suggest that if anyone finds it useful and wants to they can make a donation to Briskoda by paypal.

Might get us a couple of quid.

Put a link up Alex, and I'll follow suit later on as well - copying your text verbatum ;)

Sounds like a damn fine idea to me. Need to run past the Mod's first though I would assume.....

Colin? Ian? Wanna give the OK before something like this? I don't really see much harm from it, apart from maybe a backlash from the people trying to get £2.99 / £3.99 for it all.... :D

[mr burns - rubbing hands] excellent! [/mr burns]

I knoticed this line....This webside includes over 100 diagnostic codes, some interesting and some not. Not our site per chance?

Im happy to follow suit and post, but why not post it something like "if you want the info for free, join Briskoda - free membership" and post the URL

need approval from mods first tho i suspect

I like Doc Zoids idea meself, post instruction then say if they wanna donate to Briskoda then that fine, and also put the Briskoda URL

It f&%*^ n annoys me to see people ripped off like this

looking at his feedback, it looks like hes already made a LOT of mhoney out of this already

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

We have approval from the all-knowing Q now, so lets see... Best to stagger the timing of the auctions - all 10 days long, right? ;)

edit: Check the feedback of these peeps! They're nearly all positive and from owners of what I would call decent cars! I mean don't these people know how easy it is to do a google search for these things? suckers.

It may be worth someone sticking a short time one up, that way it will apear at the first page

On eBay if you post a question to the seller is it available for everyone to view?

This is is from his feedback-

bit of a rip off as available on the web, Buyer-willy_ham ( 1 ) 16-Sep-04 22:10

Reply by davidoliver2000: Unofficial instructions could damage your vehicle. I provide dealer approved on!

Hmm

Jimmy - AFAIK the questions are only visible to other people on the motor car auctions. But I could be wrong - I've done no research into it really.

Would it be worth putting a complaint into Ebay about this, especially if the complaint was put in by some of the people who actually did some of the word finding and translating this information ??

or pay £9.95 and get it feature listed. I think a good thing now will be to find the VAG com thread on here.

bu99er - can't find it.. :( I'm sure Greg posted the climatronic display thingies in a thread on here!
