Awesome

Without seeing the finished article am not going to comment. But from what I read, its going to be a show car? And the guy obviously wants it to look right, else he would have finished ages ago with some half hearted attempt.

very funny....brightened up a bad day in the office!

I see that no-one has added a FAIL yet so I think I will add one. I didn't take the photo but still.....

I would like to know how Stagecoach got out of that one but I think some wall dismantling might have been required?

  :D

You could maybe jack and airbag that out, but still....

F-A-I-L :D

Steve

I have seen that when it was linked to on SCN a few months ago.

Here is the Original Thread that the owner made. My 1.1 pug - Peugeot 106 Owners Club

There actually people on that forum that like what he has done to it. :P

Edit: Andy on post #24 has allready linked to this, oops, sorry! :o

I read through it while I was at work earlier and got a few funny looks when I began to laugh

It's fantastic!

I was considering getting some spacers ...

Here, it actually looks like it could be a decent track car in the making...

But after that...wow :rotz:

Yup, has a certain 'Dimma' look to it at one stage. But then....

Even SWMBO thought it was hilarious. Also she hadn't heard of the barryboys site before, she thinks that it's great.

Looking at the thread on the 106 site I like the way after all that work the car is missing half the body work.

The link was too image-intensive to show on my phone, and it's taken me until now to see it. Boy, was it worth the wait!

I was hoping to see a finnished article at the end!!...I can hardly wait now!! :) Have to say but i do like his rims though :)

"i like the look of the dtms but you cant see a thing out of them"

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

those wheels look like schmidt modern lines, they must be worth more than the car:eek: (oor my car for that matter)any of the pro wheel hoes want to confirm my rookie wheel spot?

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Those spacers MUST be a wind up surely? Hope he carries a spare set of wheel bearings around.

Shame the tyres aren't the right way round but that's the least of his troubles.

**** :rotz:

Epic fail!

Oh dear.

I particularly chuckled at the comment made in post #142

"Liking it.. the fact its all being done by yourself makes it respectable"

All he needs now is the badly painted NOS logo from the hatch of the rot-box 106 that nearly sideswiped me the other day because the driver couldn't see out from the back seat, and it's complete.

I am purely contributing to this thread in order to get the update that tells me that the 106 is finished. I know the chap said he wants the car to be a show car, but I would like to see it go over a speed bump and watch the wheels snap off and the filler create a small slag heap.

I am trusting you Steve to update the thread with progress of this project.

actually looking at it makes me think a 106 would make a pretty cool monster truck donor, i reckon he should jack it up about 2 feet, now that would be cool :o

here it's a 106

in France its a Twingo

althoug this one does have a V8 in the back
