What did you do to your Skoda today?

Featured Replies

You could make up for that by posting some pics :giggle: .

Fitted new eBay special LED bulbs in the interior + numberplate. Numberplate ones might be too wide, and not point down enough, have to see.

Will do, but I don't collect my car until tomorrow afternoon. ;)

Cleaned it last night to save me a job over the bank holiday, should have done OH's too but spent too much time talking to the neighbour about bikes!

Polished scuffs out of two of the doors (thanks to other careless drivers in car parks). Gave it a thorough wash, quick wax, hoovered the inside, cleaned the glass, finally fitted my Briskoda sticker and bought some screen wash and a rubber mat for the boot and then jet washed the drive so it has somewhere clean to sleep!

It's now a shiny happy Skoda!

Can't seem to upload the foto, bugger. But have for some time been missing the badge from the front of my car so today I carved one for the front, lol. Dosent look to bad from a distance, it's done out of lime wood, it's quality just a bummer I can't get the photo up. It's had loads of hits on fbook.

Popped a boost pipe

Fixed now, new jubilee clip fitted :)

Removed cleaned and refitted the EGR. I have started to notice a very slight hesitation on light throttle sometimes so hoping this will sort it.

Put around 200 miles on it with a day-trip to the Cotswolds (yesterday).

The salesman told me just to drive normally from day one as they don't require a running-in period these days, but I'm keen to rack up the first 1000 miles or so as soon as possible, with long trips rather than with constant stop-start/short journeys. Hopefully that will get the engine and transmission off to a good start in life.

remembered that I hadnt upgraded my glovebox light, took it out fitted LED, broke it refitting it *facepalm

Fitted my new BlackVue DR500 in car camera;

And fitted my old DR400 into the wife's car - should I tell her, or see when she notices? :giggle:

A well over-due clean and finally got round to putting on the brisky sticker :)

I did this to my Skoda today because I'm too damn low...

Gave the keys to my father and let him borrow it. He's totalled two skodas so far. One of those almost twice. Safe to say I'm not expecting to see my car again lol.

Replaced the cam cover gasket for the 2nd time in about 4-5 weeks and hopefully won't need changing in another 4-5 weeks.

Also stuck another Briskoda sticker on, thanks to Bowen.

Nice one, John

You had loads left! Think my best effort has been about 10-15 miles with it reading zero :D

For Bolero and SD card, do you not use the Bolero card utility that was on one of the threads here. Makes that process really easy and does help with card access speeds. I'll find you a link later if you're not sure what I'm on about!

Steve, no sorry I don't think I have found that thread in my searching. As for the fuel, I was a little worried when traffic got busy

2 hours washing, polishing and waxing. Hoover inside and a quick dash polish.
