  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Booked in for friday for wiring to the injectors as it keeps going into limp mode with no3 injector fault

Blew a friggin turbo pipe.... Unsure if its the garages fault after clutch & flywheel repair. Dropped it at there door for them to sort in the morning, no a happy chappy regardless, just cost me a nights work!

Took mine to the dealer to have the Whistling noise (Bonnet Grill) sorted, they liked it that i told them what to do

Also had my passenger door adjusted, more wind noise

Gave it a wash (then the cat walked over it!), and locked it up on the drive for a couple of nights whilst I give my mum's Polo some exercise :)

Had the winter wheels swapped for the shiny alloys and normal rubber.

Came home and the weatherman says I may have been a little premature?

Went to Halfords and bought some Autoglym stuff on 3 for 2 offer!

The wife now thinks I'm a tight saddo as I've just spent the last hour cleaning the tail pipes...

went down the scrappers and got some FL rear lights.

I filled it to busting with interior bits I removed from the golf ready to go to the dump tomorrow.

Summer wheels back on, so it's going to snow for the next week!

Painted the rear brake calipers red to match the front (and the car!) and sprayed the B pillars with black Plastidip. Just waiting for them to dry now.

Took my springs off my coilovers and RARB to the powdercoaters to be done in Kawasaki Green, made a start on a detail of the car first time since I've bought it (and looking at it EVER), will finish it off tomorrow

De under sealing.

Isn't polishing your tip natural ? :giggle:

Reversed into a bin (big black metal one with 4 wheels) doing a hurried 3 point turn, doesn't look like any damage, but can't tell in the dark :wall: .

Swapped my winters for summers, so expect more snow :p

Raided Halfrauds earlier for Autoglym stuff on their 3for2 offer. 1L of SRP, Glass stuff and Quick Detailer.

Swung by the hand car wash on the way home (they're good at giving is a basic clean) ready for me to give it a good going over later this aft and sorting the interior.

Also (looking to the future now!) going to remove my Bolero, refit the Stream ready for the Columbus later this week hopefully and maybe book it in at TWS for the wheels to get refurbed next weekend... Oh, and I'm going to do an experiment with my grill this aft too ;)

Took it for some exercise out in the country, filled it up with v-power and Castrol :sun:

In primer and onto the other side.

Fitted my freshly plasti-dipped grill surround with Pasty badge:

Used Lamin-X film on my front DRL's. Didn't order the right size for the rear lamps, and CBA to take the bumper off to do the front headlights today either.

Took off the engine cover though and started stripping off the old paint that had bubbled up from the previous owner, turns out if was red & white underneath and had just painted gloss black on the top like a 'tard. So will have to prep that over the next few days and also managed to paint my turbo heatshield black as it was just starting to show a few rust spots.

Pics to follow in a few days once its all done/
