  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Experimented with some Wolfs Body Wrap Nano Sealant on the bonnet only ( 2 coats).......after a complete paintwork detox and polish with S17+ and a wipe down with IPA...Doing a comparison with Zymol Titanium on the rest of the car..If it beforms well..will apply to the rest of the car after a similar polishing and paint cleansing

I finished touching up the 12 or so nasty stone chips on the front of the Octy. Now you really have to look hard to find any trace of them :)

watched the wife drive off with it for its MOT. Passed :)

My god my car is quick compared to the wifes Jazz and soo many f**kers pull out or in on you while driving a Jazz :wall:

Roof rails and bike carriers on and test fitted one of the bikes ready for swinley on Sunday

Picked her up from my dealer* after some accident repairs. Never going to see that £250 excess again and no doubt the insurance company will stack my premium next year as a result but at least she looks as good as new, Some consolation that the other guy who caused the damage is getting the same hit.

*Thanks to Preston Motors for excellent and prompt service as always.

Finally got around to re fitting the original brake pads and wheels after How Fast on June 1st, I noticed the discs were pretty messed up with grooves after the racing pads had eaten them so I bought some new discs and fitted them too.

Fabia looks normal again

Cleaned the missus mk1 furby today, and they say you cant polish a turd :D . jokes aside, still a lovely car to drive and look at :p.

Wish it was mine. It's on a very long term loan as my mate isn't fit to ride it currently. It puts my old Saracen to shame

Here's a better shot

It's a balmy midwinter 14 degrees in Wellington tonight.

Fixed my iO Play bluetooth kit (volume control not working) and fitted it to the Octavia.

Took about 3 hours start to finish taking my time and cable tying everything up nice and neat.

Sold it...the wife's Fabia that is

Not today but last the Fabia had its MOT and the result....Passed :)

parked it at its second home, the airport. Stays there during the week and goes home at the weekend

Fitted some nice & shiny new front brake discs & pads to my octy, nearly 5 years old & 45k covered, lots of pad life left but discs were badly corroded on inner face.
