After one month of ownership the head is off after the animals that repaired the head last time sheered the head bolt off, ****ing oil out every where! Fingers crossed I get a couple of years out of it after this,

Only bonus is I'm driving a 3cylinder 1.2 fabia courtesy car brand new for the time being!

Selected some driving CDs, which include a couple of calming ones but not whale song. :wonder:

Washed car with Autoglym bodywork shampoo conditioner and when rinsed and dryed, waxed with Collinate 845s Insulator Wax on bodywork and wheels. Autoglym Fastglass on...well glass.

Mine has been parked since yesterday and won't be moving until tomorrow evening as i am stuck at work for 3 days solid

Spent three hours last night on the glass and paintwork to get rid of the insect graveyard and the huge amount of tar splatter picked up from two miles of only just resurfaced road in the Dales last month. First time using a claybar and it seems to have done the trick without any (obvious, to me at least) marring. Waxed it again. 

Wased and polished both of our Octy's and just for good measure my Dads Octy as well.

Now off to the SE Maidstone meet.

Decided to wash my car properly for the first time in 6 months, then wax, polish + seal paintwork.

 

Took ages as had to physically scrape a billion bugs off the windscreen and front bumper lol

Less than £451

Flushed the coolant system and realized that my patchjob of a repair did jack ****. So now i need a new radiator. The list just gets longer and longer.

Yesterday, fitted PastyBoy badge on rear and front mudflaps.

Today, adjusted drivers door handle so i can open it from the inside again after having the doors locked. Still not sitting that flat though.
