  • Picked up the new VRS: 2013 Fabia VRS by Graeme_Smith, on Flickr

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

  • modified the cup holder     It's now a hobnob holder

Gave it a quick clean and removed the Green cotton filter to be replaced with a standard type panel filter. The Green cotton one seems to have gone manky and quite rusty in places, most definitely down to the fact I just never got around to cleaning and oiling it often enough :( So much less smoke now though! :D

I paid my Freedom subs and stuck an ad for my Mk2 VRs up

Fitted four pallets flat in the back of my fabia vrs hatch! Two of them were big euro pallets too. Who needs an estate!? Could have probably fitted a couple more in too.

Drove around 600 miles on a tank of diesel to get to Goodwood and back yesterday.

Drove around 450 miles to Goodwood and back. Couldn't do it on a tank. Put £20 of BP Ultimate (97) at Eastleigh and by Castle Combe junction it had gone! Managed to get to Neath Abbey to a Tesco so I could put Momentum back in.

No I couldn't do it in a tank either, a vRS, yes, but not a tank.

Changed :D

Quick service, with gearbox oil change and selector cable adjust.

Went to Stamford Park in Ashton-Under-Lyne.  My daughter was squealing and running around in the fountains and I was squealing and struggling to eat an ice cream before it melted all down my arm!!   :sun:

In the battle that is man versus food....I won!!

Topped up my coolant ... again

Fully washed, glass cleanered, fluided and interior polished ready for another working week :D

Removed and cleaned every sensor on the Engine, emptied catch tank and replaced all four Coilpacks!

I'll put £20 down you haven't had the knock sensors off. ;)

Engine in and started working out locations for things.

Looked at it covered in dust from Gisburn last Thursday night and the inside covered in bamboo leaves from the half price 9ft tall bamboo plants on offer in B&Q.

Left it til tomorrow to sort...

Fitted Cruise Control.  Next stop Auto Lights.

Replaced a sidelight bulb on the mk1

Cleaned and polished mine :)

Gave it a wash and also fitted pressed plates and white LED number plate lights :)
