Well, yesterday I managed to get the car washed...and fit my new Evolos B)

Very pleased with how it looks now, and the ride is only marginally firmer.

The slippery slope continues... :giggle:

And a daylight shot...car looks lower as the suspension will have settled after being jacked up.

All thoughts and opinions welcome

Nooooo, it'd look good but I love my Eibachs and Koni FSD's!

I knew someone would say that, but first reply? Jeez-o :dull:

;)

I like them, I also think the stance is sensible and looks good as well.

Looking good mate.

I don't think it's to high, but don't think going a little lower would hurt it either. Guessing your on a fixed hight setup?

Your motor always looks sharp though! Think it's the colour and that you keep it so squeaky clean! And the grilles of course ;):D

Love the Evolvos, but damn it looks high!!

Thanks :)

That's the key thing...sensible. It's my daily driver after all, and the roads are pretty much knackered so slammed on coilovers would be A Bad Idea!

Thanks bud, glad you like it :)

Yep, I'm on a fixed-height setup, Koni FSD's and Eibach springs. Coilies are just too much hassle for me

Ssh, it's been lowered by about 20-25mm as it is  it was on stilts before.

Tell me about the roads man! My coil overs hurt haha

But they look good, I miss them already haha

Lower!

Very nice! Got your text yesterday! just a bit pre-occupied at the time - I'm facing redundancy at the moment! :( More mods to my VRS on hold!

Thanks for the comments folks

Oh heck, sorry to hear that :S Best of luck.

Looks very smart although I agree with the 'lower' comments :)

It doesn't look lowered at all, compared to my standard height vRS on Octy 17's... hmm...

Thanks, but it's not getting lowered any further, end of! ;)

My current setup suits my needs perfectly. One thing I did notice was that the fitting of the Koni FSD's seemed to bump the ride height up a touch.

lol :) Do it! It'd look sick!

Noooooo! It looks better in the flesh ;)

The car looks like it's on stilts on the top photos, but much better in the 'daylight' photo, more than likely because it's had chance to settle on the springs after being jacked up to swap the wheels over. I like it  If you want to do anything else with it maybe put vRS front and rear bumpers on

mine has eibachs -30 and fsd's...front looks bout same but back on mine lot lower..

Ah I hadn't thought of that! I bet you're right.

Haha, I have a vRS rear bumper sitting under my desk at the moment ;)

Is is lowered yet?

Is is lowered yet?

This post is useless without the 'Make it low' pic

I agree with "five spokes" when there are five wheel bolts! So easy to clean - you can get your hands right through to the rear and do a proper job.

One thing though, what gives with the mains extension lead in the water - take care there!

My wife's car looks a bit different with its nice new shiny black steel wheels and Michelin Alpins 3's (back down to 185/60 on 14" rims for winter - quite a comfy ride!).

like it mate looks better tbh needs lowering imo
