10 Plates and new Jaguar XJ

Featured Replies

Anyone got any good 10 plate spots today, i've seen a 3 series, a Peugeot Van, some sort of Fiat thing and a transporter full of little Citroen Vans.

Also spotted on the M62 was a new Jag XJ 59 plate in shiny black, i'm really not sure and hoping it's a grower. From the rear it looks like a Korean effort at a big car, the side profile looks good (ish) it looks more of a hatch than a saloon, Merc CLS style. The front looks really good, sporty and mean.

I'm guessing by the drivers multi coloured anorak and him jabbering away to his mate with a big sheaf of paperwork it could be a journalist out on a road test.

Spotted a Suzuki Vitara and the 10 plate threw me for a while. Thought it was a private plate at first. :smirk:

Ive not seen any on the road yet , just a few outside garages , waiting to be picked up (Fiestas)

I saw a Range Rover about two weeks ago. Didn't have trade plates on either which was a bit naughty.

First one i saw was a new Discovery on the M25, then later on,on the M1 saw a Bmw 5 series being run in the Italian way,

must have been doing well over the ton.

Then i saw two new Jag XJ's in Coventry. ( Bit of a cheat, because it was at the Jag Spares Warehouse.) Would liked to have taken a few snaps but no camera's on site.

been PDI-ing 10 plates for a bit, so my spots were easy

also seen the new Jag up close, we had an Jag engineer in the workshop a month or so ago, nice company car

Saw my first one today, the car....a mighty Citroen Picasso....

Saw my 1st 10 plate today on the A75 near Castle Douglas. BMW X1 either black or V Dk Blue. Came up behind it so only saw the back but looked a nice car. First time I have seen an X1 too. The driver even managed to demonstrate the optional indicators were working. :giggle:

Ferrari - think it was a 599 tho not too clued up on the most recent fezzas. The owner was obviously a bit excied as he'd driven it to his office in central london today!

No doubt paid for by his bonus, which was paid for by your taxes when we bailed the banks out.

Keep up Len - it wasn't a question of changing the Fabia, there was an untimely need to replace it due to the previous one being stolen :(
