do moobs count?

Depends what cup size you are

I find its not so much the car but the person driving it. I have far more hassle in fabia from middle aged blading tw@ts that I ever do with any boy racer, infact I mostly get approving nods and smiles from the boy racers. The same cant not be said in the Octavia I get no hassle at all!

If people hate it then I really dont care as its a brill lil car and to me thats all that matters!

^^ haha, if i was full beamed i'd slam my brakes on :wonder:

Guess i'd do the same if you slammed yours on...

Had something In france last week, This 17 year ***** in a rusty saxo about a metre away from my bumper decides to over take me a I go to overtake a tractor (indicated and everything). So I blast past him when we clear the tactor ,Minute later he flys past me and slams his his ****ty brakes on and nose dives the car to a stop, as I casually come to a stop.

After a minute he's still in his car staring at me in his mirror, so I get out walk up to his window and knock on it. He winds it down starts shouting all this french at me while I stand the calmly calling his a french surrender monkey and how he wants to make love to cheese lol,

He then opens his door on me before atempting to wheel spin off, so I gladly put a size 11 steel toe cap boot into his rear 1/4 panel :)

Oh you poor chap - having to be in france - are you a missionary or something ?

Was he in a striped jumper with onions around his neck ?

I quite like winding people up with mine. It's those in more expensive cars that don't like you passing them from my experience.

My thoughts exactly! :D

yeah but fabia's aren't actually that good tbh ^^ people rave about them all the time and personally i cant see the attraction....

Love your sig. Tom.

My Fabia appears to suffer from the same problem as my last few cars. Namely, the cloaking device is far too good:rofl:

I enjoy testing other drivers (if I feel the situation warrants it). i.e. driving at a legal speed limit on the motorway and not doing anything wrong. They usually come up behind me too close. I then pull away from them leaving a gap of 7 or 8 cars.Eventually they catch up and to make them feel really bad i make a point to gently tap my brakes to tell them i've had to slow down just so they could catch up. They again try it on and i repeat until they get the message. Had a fiesta up driver up behind me once and was rudely gesturing at me to drive faster than the speed limit. He had a bint in the passenger seat and was probably trying to impress her. I sped up and waved goodbye with a smile on my face.

I always pre-empt things well in advance so know when to move over to let them over take etc if they are overly aggressive or driving a much faster car.

you're a tit

I think some people don't like being over taken full stop. Putting boy racers to shame is rather funny though.

If someone is 'trying it on' with me by getting up my arse my foot 'slips' off the accelerator and i tend to slow down a bit.

I must admit i have been overtaking about 30 lorrys on a dual carrigeway and a **** in a BMW has been up my arse flashing, i was sat on cruise controll at exactly 70. every time i could have pulled in to let him past i didn't due to him been such a bad driver. He then undertook me, causing me to break to avoid crashing into him as he cut me up. This is the only time i have got so mad i wanted to do a pit manouver on him :giggle: . Insted i just booted it and sat up his arse and was flashing him, once he got to top speed i then overtook him and pulled in front of him and slowed down (not breaking). he got the point and actually said sorry as he overtook me and then put his hazards on.

The Fabia vRS has gained an enviable reputation as a giant killer so all the t-----s out there like to stay in front or overtake one and say they blew it away.

Got to say this thread shows what a bunch of Chavs have taken over the Fabia forum of Brisky. You guys should be ashamed at all the juvenile, aggressive and irresponsible behaviour that you seem so proud to boast about. Grow up!! The road is for driving on, not playing some stupid child’s game. Baiting drivers and deliberately seeking confrontations is frankly ridiculous. I feel so disappointed that Brisky has turned into a mouthpiece for this kind of thinking.

Agreed - you are all coming off as complete idiots in this thread and sound like you're proud of your dangerous driving.

Well said.

I didn't find the fabia was a bad car for drivers driving to close, I've found it more to be the smaller the car in front the closer people will drive behind it.

Whats the point in joining in with the juevinile behavour, when you can just move over and let them past and then laugh as you pass them a few miles later in the ditch

To a certain extent I agree with the above, but then again, it's good fun to have a quick play with people on the roads when they're quiet sometimes...

No it's not!

They're public roads. Most people are just trying to get somewhere and don't need some idiot in a small hatchback baiting them and winding them up.

If you want to race, go to a track day, or go-karting.

What, so you don't agree with a few bursts on dual carriageways, say, after a roundabout? One car in one lane, one car in the other, both flat out to see who's got more poke? Surely there's a reason you tune your car...

The posting in this thread has shown that a few idiots revel in the belief that everyone needs burning off in order to be shown the supremacy of a small VAG oil burner. Spirited driving is one thing, but what has been written in this thread is the dangerous kind of driving that comes mainly from younger inexperienced drivers and will almost certainly put someone in hospital.

True, although i've only read a small segment of the thread. I'm one of these 'young drivers' at 19, and yes, I agree, spirited driving is always nice, and I don't condone out and out racing. Wheelspinning off the lights, nailing it round busy roads/towns etc is down right dangerous. But having a few short blasts, in a friendly manner, with another road user that's clearly in the same mindset as you, is, imo, not awfully dangerous, and a good laugh.

I generally give them a friendly wave or flash if they're turning off, or if they're carrying on their merry way at whatever speed they wish.

I have been known to participate in the occasional traffic light Grand Prix yes, but this thread is talking about slamming brakes on in front of people and stupid behaviour like that. The stuff that will cause accidents.

I may be sounding like a grumpy old man here, but the sort of driving described here is dangerous and irresponsible.

I don't need to constantly prove that my car is faster than others - I know it is :) I will drive spiritedly where the conditions allow, for my own enjoyment, not to prove to someone in a bigger car that I am better than them.
