Yellow vRS estate - how common?

Featured Replies

Pretty much as per the title really.

Got a mate after either a yellow vRS estate, or an equally "special" colour 1.8t 4x4 estate - as new as possible - in a few weeks.

I've only seen one yellow vRS estate up for sale this year - just how common are they?

TIA

Not very - I saw one on ebay earlier this year, never seen one on the road.

Silver and black seem to be the most common colours for the estates then red, then white and yellow least common.

If you go for a 1.8T 4x4 the dark metallic green is very nice as is the dark metallic blue. Would've been nice to have had the VRS in those colours

I've only ever seen one estate vRS in Lemon Yellow.

Nope, never seen one, good luck in your search!

That one looks quite tidy, and the sills aren't bent (yet) :giggle:

thats only a little high i got my red vrs estate for £4900 with 65k and the dealer did the cambelt and waterpump service and new breaks all round was a £937 service i think i got a cracking deal the car is mint!

One of the independent car dealers near here (just outside Preston) has one for sale at the moment - £3,995 on the screen I think...

Can get the garage contact details if you are interested?

ETA - found it - Arena Car Sales then "Stock list" and search Skoda...

Thanks for all the replies.

I did know they were fairly rare, but for only a couple to be found thus far nationwide.......he's gonna have his work cut out!

What's the general opinion on them then? I'm undecided - one day I think they look good, and the next think the colour looks too "watery", and I think the green calipers clash too much with the yellow - small thing which can be easily changed I know.

Is this the same colour as the Leon? As I think it suits the Leon much better.

if the car has been well looked after i.e regualy washed and waxed!! they hold their colour mutch better my audi a4 quattro sport was mint and well looked after and i got it for 3k with only 50k on the clock i like buying cars off single mums!!!

I don't like them with silver wheels, hence why mine are not silver!!

The colour fades very easily to a dull shade if it's not looked after. In the right light though, and with a bit of care and attention it can look awesome:

The yellow on the Leon is called "Ovni Yellow" but the Octavia VRS is "Lemon Yellow".

audi yellow is called brilliant yellow!

Is that the same as Internet Yellow, as I saw on Beryl's brakes on the RR day? :giggle:

If you look closely you'll notice Beryl has 4 shades of yellow...

BMW yellow on the respray job on the side panel

The original yellow on most of the bodywork

faded yellow on the boot spoiler

and internet yellow on the brakes :giggle:

Still in fine fettle for her age though

Was just gonna say there's one for sale at dm keith huddersfield. I've driven past it a few times and noticed it cos it's the same colour as mine.

It's definately the brightest one on their forecourt

Just looked at a yellow vRS estate at DM Keith in Huddersfield (Skoda dealer). Think it was up for £4.5k, looks tidy and all original.
