I'd think you'd struggle if the st driver can actually drive. They are nothing special, mine is actually my mrs, but they are light, and can be troublesome in the right hands. Unless as jase says, you have a bacon lettuce and tomato, then you'll take them like a king as the legend says.

all this ive beat this, im quicker than that. pointless. at end of day the only thing u will be beating is the bus to the bus stop when you get banned for driving like a complete ****.

Thats been coming ever since the launch of the Fabia vRS and why the dynamic of the forum changed and why you dont see a lot of the original members on here anymore.

I can't agree with the 'new saxo' line at all. Your talking about comparing a small hatchback with loads of wild body kits, many hundreds of varieties of alloys, massive over the top exhausts to the Fabia??? The vRS has a tried and tested (but fairly limited) VAG modding route that 99% of owners go down. The saxo has a 'chav' image associated with it and the Fabia is a mainstay part of the VAG scene.

I do see that it is inevitable the as the mk1 Fabia vRS gets older and as prices drop even further, as a second hand purchase, it opens up to a lot more 'boy racer' owners. I remember being part of the mkiv golf scene when the same thing occurred. IMO, it is down to the owners and scene as a whole to educate these 'kids' to appreciate the VAG ways and the tolerances of the forum.

I very rarely see a modified fabia vrs, and even less so one that are done badly. nearly all the ones i see are standard and driven by old people.

I agree with your forum comment, there does seem to be a fair bit of bull**** floating about, however, its the same on all car forums i`v used/use.
