Now you buggered off north what am I supposed to do? :D.

I do however differentiate between track weapons and everyday drivers (not mutually exclusive of course). For a daily driver in my book it has next to no body roll. For a track weapon, I do not know as I had no chance to track it yet :). Compared to a single seater Formula Ford or the like then yes, yahts are better :D

Mine isnt a track weapon. Mine is a fast road setup that just so happens to be pretty decent on track. Its no where near stiff enough to be called a track weapon. I do move upto Scotland until the 21 Jan. If you around Derby or Nottingham between now and then ill be happy to meet up with yourself or anyone else who is intrigued about the modifications I have and what they are like.

One thing I'd not agree is the manual slush box sentiment - with DSG tech this became an anachronism to be quick forgotten. DSG does everything better than any manual can ever hope to achieve.

Agreed

Lovely looking vrs mate, i like what you have done at the front with the splitter and painting it black etc. The quarter panels look good too, have you vinyl wrapped, plasti dipped or painted them in? What do you think of the car?I am picking mine up this weekend (white, black roof) after owning an octavia 1.8tsi for 2years I hope this car will be as good.

Cheers.

Everything is wrapped both the front and quarter panel, light are sprayed with smoke spray, (id advise brighter lights if you do this lol) i love my car to bits as an alround car i think it does the job, from being very nippy when you want it to, ,to getting good mpg when your calm, its very practical and fun to drive, i have the 1.4tsi cupra before hand and i much prefer the fabia.

Was thinking of the rally flaps mentioned elsewhere, too. Might even consider them in a bright colour, fluorescent green anyone? Pink?

I hope your joking about the bright colours
