Hello!

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, just thought id say hello as am planning on buying (with everyone else on this board!) a fabia VRS soon so thought i'd better sign up to your forums.

I've had my current car for years but couldnt decide what to go for next until someone mentioned the Fab vrs last year. Briefly test drove one last July and the acceleration was amazing, plus it was a diesel!

My only problem is trying to find some secondhand ones, their like gold dust!

Though the dealer near work has 2 for sale, Marlborough in West London. What are they like? So am planning on visiting them at the weekend to try and see if i can have test drive in one to refresh my memory!

Welcome!

Hmm.. i can see there much rivalry over which is the better vRS! Did see one on the moterway the other day and it does look nice, but is quite common now, i have seen very few fabia's and only one vRS as it flashed past. My current car is a Saxo VTR (no boy racer quips please;)) but am currently doing 120 miles a day to & from work so wanted a diesel as it would be better. Plus one where i'm not being contorted because the seat, pedal, and wheel are in different positions!

There is a little bit  of friendly rivalry between Octy and Furby owners. Better get used to it :D:D

It was that rivallry, and my lack of driving ability, that made me buy the SDI. :( I just couldn't handle the power of the Octy RS so bought a diesel instead :)

Maybe I should do the same :(

Wellied the Octy at 40 mph in 2nd gear last night and seriously woke up the ESP

Did the same on mine the other day too :( Wellied it at 120 and the lights started blinking :D

KMH of course, it is a slow diesel :D

Welcome, Saxo a good car, Fabia potentially far better :)
