I asked if it came with it and I got one for free.

Does the ipod drain the car battery if you leave it plugged into the Mdi?

Yep still seem to be coming with the car for free, picked up my car yesterday and it came with the iPod cable. I wanted the USB cable so dealer will order and swap them.

Is the swing-radio and mdi2usb-cable supporting usb 3.0 like this one?

Transcend USB 3.0 500GB External Drive

USB 3.0, StoreJet 25M3, Rubber Anti-chock case

I would of thought so. USB3 is backward compatible with USB2 and the MDI cable shouldn't know the difference.

Got my 3rd Fabia yesterday - MDI cable for iPod handed over with the keys (dealer knows I wanted an iPod cable as first question I asked when I brought my last one was where do I plug in the aux cable?).

Anyhow I also want a MDI cable for a 3.5mm jack - any ideas where I can get one? Looking at ebay but not sure if there are different versions out there and I want to get the right one.

Thanks.

Just been to sign paperwork for Fabia SE+ ( has MDI & AUX ) & was advised that they dont actually sell them anymore as theyre cheaper to buy elswhere, was cheeky asking if they woud chuck anything in as this is the 5th Skoda purchased from them, they will do mudflaps, & if they have an MDI sitting round, will chuck that in B)
