I'm away again...

Well, as part of my engineering cadetship, tomorrow I head off to sea for 3 months :o

Fly from Stornoway to Inverness, Inverness to Gatwick, then spend the night in Rochester before joining the MV Ever Sigma in Thamesport on Tuesday:

Same ship as last year, and like last year I'll be sailing the Europe-China route taking in places like Hamburg, Rotterdam, Le Havre, Taranto, Port Said, Jeddah, Colombo, Tanjung Pelepas in Malaysia, Kaohsiung, Taipei, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Ningbo and Yantian. I'll do that route 3 times, before being flown home from Singapore in October. At least I should come back tanned and thinner :p

I'll miss my Briskoda fix while I'm away! I'll be back soon enough, hope you all stay safe

Cheers,

Andrew :hi:

Safe sailing. Depending on when you're into Ningbo I may well see you there - we're in long term lay up.

Are you training with Zodiac and what nationality are the crews on those Evergreen ships?

Auric Goldfinger: Adrian Maersk = 352 m X 43 m / Ever Sigma = 300 m x 43 m

Pretty equally matched, except one is ran by the undisputed leaders in the liner shipping industry ;)
