Look good Bryan :)

Bet they looked better in colour though. You could try just desaturating them a bit rather than completely grey. The grayscale treatment has taken a bit of contrast away.

Very good use of Greyscale Bryan.

Well done..Classy pics

Nice use of SC... As above i think the contrast needs adjusting just a little to bring back some of the detail of the camo once in mono. emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Great shots.

Those are great shots.

Can I just pass on a tip for shooting propellor driven aircraft I got from someone a few weeks ago. I was taking shots of an aerobatic display over the Mersey in September. I was talking to another photographer who asked what shutter speed I was using. It was on a bright day shooting silver aircraft against a bright sky on Av mode so shutter speed was 1/1000 to 1/2500.

The advice was to set the mode to Tv and shutter speed to 1/200 - 1/250. This is still fast enough to freeze the actual aircraft but slow enough to get a movement blurr on the actual prop without completely losing it. As a result this gave my shots a much better sense of movement and stops them from looking like the Airfix models I had suspended from my bedroom ceiling when I was a kid.
