Still don't know the camp site but I doubt it matters very much - was going to do a 'drive past' cos I had DofE groups out on those dates but have snapped my Achilles tendon and will still be in plaster on those dates.

yay! probably the same as last years, to be honest, was £3 per head per night... a field to ourselves that we can take the cars on, no noise restrictions (but no showers!)

the views are FANTASTIC, just hope for nice weather, as its a bit of a bog at the moment, I advise bringing waterproof sheets to go under your tents!

Its a field behind the farm, we can take the cars on, fires allowed if off the grass, gazeebo's allowed, we will probably have the field to ourselves, there is an outside toilet, and hot and cold running water behing the farm, owners name is willy, sons name John

There is NO shop, (It is just a field at the end of the day!) you are advised to bring bog roll, food ect ect..

If showers are needed, there is a campsite up the road that will accomodate as they are 20p for a shower...

Price.. (now hold on, it is the lakes..) £3 per person per night lol.....

I've been a bit of a div and double booked myself on the Sunday (as I'm doing Race For Life!) Obviously want to come to this, but don't want to let RFL down, so if possible I will just be coming the Saturday

Only thing we might have an issue with using last years field would be the grass deteriorating with there being more cars but that will really depend upon the weather

there's a rivier if you are desperate for showers, the next campsite up has them....

edit: not that we will be using it, as "no cars on site, no noise after 10pm, no gazeebo's ect ect ect I could go on" but they will let you use the showers, as they charge for them.

I'm sure it won't be far to the next campsite for a shower. The campsite is cheap as chips so you can spend the money you saved on having an uber long shower! lol

I will certainly come to the Sunday drive. Not sure about camping, I like my luxuries haha!

just make sure if you are going to buy a tent to keep it has a Hydrostatic head of over 3000, that way you wont get wet when it rains. If a shop assistant says you only need 2000 they are just trying to flog a tent and dont care that the british rain has got harder over the years.

Looks like I won't make Sunday guys :( money dependant, will try make Saturday, may look at coming up Friday night and stay in a Premier Inn or something
