The one with ' the struggle' you approach from ullswater (Penrith side) and go over the top where the pub is, that's the carpark at the start if the vid, the struggle is the mad little road that then goes down into amblside, if you then go up to Keswick, and down borrowdale valley, you will go over the pass at the slate mines

Saturday drive - I'm aiming to leave the campsite at 3pm and start the drive heading to Penrith for the ice cream stop. approx 1 hour to get there, allowing a leisurely stop to enjoy the ice cream. Then a further drive to Carlisle for a food stop. This time I decided to stop at a car park which has a chippy, Burger King, chinese and Dominos pizza shops all within sight so people can decide what they'd like. After we're all fed we'll head back to the campsite the scenic way arriving back approx 9pm.

So if you want to do the Saturday drive i recommend arriving at or before 12 - 1pm.

Sunday drive - All being well a relatively early start enjoying some nice roads. I fancy a chat on the Saturday regarding what people want to do for a lunch stop, but maybe just be a case of stoppuing when we see somewhere nice...lol.

Also I'd be interested to know who will be camping which nights. I know a few may be camping the friday night, i presume all on list the Saturday night. So how many are staying for the Sunday night?

Also please note I have updated post 1 as well with up to date info.

Me & my bro will be staying Friday Night also. So that's Fri,/Sat Night & going home late Sunday. We have 4 man tent so no need to book extra slot for my bros tent..

we should be friday sat and sunday... but you can never be sure...
