eventually will be going 386cc lcr/tt injectors, 3inch maf ,tip, front mount, exhaust etc but gonna take my time getting the bits just be happy to get her up and running, all the bolt ons can come later

id really like a new uprated turbo , but thinking a change mid to end of next year so i think i wont be popular

give shark a call they can supply fit an map it plus anything else, they do a stage 1,2 and 3 hybrids, 3 will need internals though as it can do340 lol stage 1 up to 250

has the wastegate port been machined?? as this was an issue on the hybrids and they sufferd with boost creep due to it!!!

so its essentially a ko4 with k03s exhaust housing??? so tip etc need to be replaced aswell due to the larger intake size???

not straight away but once mapped yep ideally as it will be on the limit for the normal air mass to handle

im off tuesday so she will get a good clean inside an out, and a fresh oil and filter change and some pics of course

update shes running beautifully, did another oil and filter change today and went for a blast, seems to be boosting fine peaking at just under 1bar amd holding .6 most of the range, so all seems well standard figures. some quick pics as i havent had a chnace to clean her yet lol

engine bay theres a few bits that are temporary like how the air filter is need to get some new hose and make a non bodged bracket lol, and sort the hose for the boost gauge.

raised the rear coilys slightly as was a bit too low all the way down but is about right now,

good spot indeed you are correct, the black collant cap you can get from awesome gti think there from a mk3 golf originally, the washer cap is just sprayed to match, took both these bits off the fab when i got rid

Still doing a few bits an pieces, redone the air filter set up with a samco hose and a proper non bodged bracket lol.

fitted a mk4 golf leather gear knob, no pics of this, got some black vac hose to redo the boost gauge piping, and still need to finish off installing my sub/amp, and give her a good clean next week sometime wax/clay etc
