My car does not have rear dome light or cluster.

There is a baby seat on the rear and needed lighting in the dark to see the belt clips etc.

I've removed the trunk dome light and fitted to the car roof liner. No need to remove roof liner.

I've used steel wire for guidance first, to find a way for wiring. Then as you see

You can also find alternatives on ebay, very cheap I've ordered a dome light to replace it from local dealer.

Cutted the liner with a scalpel and fitted the light

Bonus: Trunk hooks also fitted

By the way that is not a bad idea at all. I was planning to place another dome unit but I guess that would be more expensive and more tideous to install.

I think you are right. The roof there looks like it has a shape and it looks deeper in order to allow the unit to fit properly.

The LED dome for the trunk from superskoda is the same for Roomster, Fabia II and Octavia II.

I have installed the one from superskoda in my Roomster and it works perfect.

On eBay if found this, and I believe it is the same as superskoda.

Don't know why Skoda does not fit as standard.

It has the usual three functions

Off

on when door opens off when door closes

on manually
