Hey guys :) looking for some advce on skoda oct mk1 tdi....

First of does anyone know how to change the clocks needles from red to green ? any sort of techical guide would be great ...

Secondly my cars playing up turbo wisee....

it goes rather nippy but now and again it boots an then goes flat ... if u turn car off an back on its buissness as usual... plugged my reader in and says " 17965 Charge pressure ... control:possitive.. deviation p1557 "

Thats the old "sticky vane" problem (I'm assuming you've got a 110tdi?)

I think the only solution to that is to strip down and clean the turbo but I don't think it's a major job, one of my mates did his with a cleaning kit in a couple of hours.

Once it's fixed make sure you take it for a good blast at least once a month using all the revs otherwise it will start sticking again.

Can't help with the needles, I guess you would just have to remove the instrument cluster and take it apart.

Think the needles are red in colour so you'd have to try and find green needles from a different car that would fit. Not the case of just changing a few leds I'm afraid
