I know you guys are obviously fanatics about your skodas so dont gun me down here' date=' but I recently completely rebuilt my Fiat Coupe 2.0 16 Valve. I ported and polished the head, cut 3 angle valve seats, and put C&B cams in, lightened and balanced the crank, flywheel and con rods. This, although expensive, is the best way IMHO to extract decent power from a N/A engine.

That didnt come across right, it is a turbo , the same mechanical tuning applies to N/A engines, this was before I played with the boost!

I did exactly the same work on my old Fiat Tipo Sedicivalvole which has the same lump but N/A.

Right people. I've have booked to have my car remapped by Graham of Celtic Tuning on the 3rd May. I'll put my car on the rolling road before and after the remap and I'll post the results!!

Here with the "standard" figures. 143.4bhp and wait for it.....291lbs/ft torque!!! :eek: Is that the highest standard figure ever... :eek:

Tinkering has been put back a couple of days, will be on 4th or 5th now, can't wait!

Was there a problem with the RR. That dip in both P + T at 2500 looks way wrong for a standard car.

They actually did two runs, the first was spoilt by the traction control kicking in. :thumbdwn: But they were quite happy with the second run!
