Waiting List

Featured Replies

Hi. I'll add hopefully soo to arrive Yeti to the list.

1.2 TSI Elegance with a manual box in Regency Green with the Gobi Sand interior. I've negotiated 16" Moon alloys although these aren't standard. Order date was 18th March, I've been told its currently being built and delivery is estimated the last week of June. The dealer is Sparshatts of Fareham, Hampshire

  • Hi All, New yeti collected today (2nd Jan) from Rainworth Skoda in Mansfield Regency green 170 elegance with Gobi and Annarpurnas. Well pleased with the new motor, far superior brakes to my old 140

Hi Paul52 and welcome. Seems you are also a member of the very exclusive UK16"SpecialBuildClub. The previous new member was some time ago. Perhaps, for the sake of keeping info up-to-date for the next prospective one, you would tell us the story of your own experience wangling (down, Bob!) 16" Moons out of Skoda UK.

You might like to look at UK 16" Special Build Club - Membership Closed? and 16" Wheels: Is there a 'Next Step'? , but the story goes back way further.

Latest update from the dealer this morning.

Mine is waiting at Sheerness.

Apparently it only takes 5 days for delivery to my dealer but I'll have to wait a bit longer to collect it as they're going to do my reg transfer for me and that can take about 3 weeks.

By that time I'm going to be on hols for 3 weeks so it'll be all done and waiting for me when I come back. :)

MarieK might get hers before me? :)

Collecting mine tomorrow morning :-)

(on the long train journey south at the moment)

Mine's ready and am collecting on Friday. Its a train up North to pick up followed by a nice drive back - can't wait!

Was a total of 95 days since ordered but a frustrating 31 since the build date - wish Skoda could speed up this part of the process

At least I get to enjoy one ride - I'm sure SWMBO will drive it the rest of the time

Answerphone message when I got home from holiday today mine's ready to be collected on Thursday.

Not long to go now! Signed all the paperwork off this morning and should be delivered on Friday all being well! Exciting times!

I ordered my Yeti greenline ambition with ten extras from the factory on middle February and i took it on 10th of May!

Hi all; I spoke to my dealer yesterday and confirmed the handover for the Elegance 170 will be Saturday 25th May - hooray!! Unfortunately the Witter detachable flange towbar was 'out of stock,' so this will need to be fitted at a later date.Never mind, towing is not recommended for the first 600 miles or so anyway.

I think I did very well as my order was dated 20th April (although I was negotiating with the dealer for a while before that,) - will this be a 'World Record?' The dealer originally said he had managed to find a correctly specified car in the build queue which he could divert for me, so this would have reduced the timescales.

Roll on Saturday!

All the best, Trevor M.

Hi Trevor, hope it all goes well for you, enjoy.

Wey Hey!

Just had a call from the dealer.

Mine is being delivered to them early... Tomorrow!

Now that's what I call a birthday present :) :)

Good news!

Just picked mine up from Dealer. Didn't handover the registration document(v5) - said it's sent in the post .

Is this normal practice ?

Yup thats what happened with mine, as you are the first owner, no one else has a V5c, so the DVLA send it directly to you.

Enjoy your new car, have you kept the scooby?

Mine came in a couple of days.

At the moment yes. Got rid of the wife's Micra and the plan was to sell the Scooby. But fixing a misfire cost almost £600 (don't ask) so might keep a bit longer as I've already insured for a year .

Collected 170 Elegance today (see post #710 above.) Pleased so far, with 49.5 mpg shown for the 20 mile trip - extremely light right foot this time, and there may have been a tail wind - which is promising for the future when 'loosened up.'

One thing which confused me was the 'Deadlock! Check user manual' message when turning off the key, but thanks to the forum search facility it seems I am not the only person to be 'thrown' by this. Anyway, the excellent forum has proven its worth already. Onwards to knock up a few more miles!

Harriet has arrived at the dealer, safe and sound :)

One small disappointment is that it doesn't have the new Bolero.

Apparently they are not being fitted to the Yeti.

My guess is they are saving that little treat for the facelift ??

Reg transfer to do and then she's mine. :)

Yeti factory order Apr 11th. At garage May 21st. Collecting May 30th. Nice quick turnaround.

No wonder I have to wait for mine.

Bloody queue jumpers :finger::rofl:

You should not have ordered it in pink !

Hi Marie, it can not be very nice seeing all the people on here taking delivery of their cars when yours has been on order so long. Is there any explanation why yours is taking longer than others? Anyway hopefully it will be worth the wait - you may appreciate it all the more when it does eventually arrive.

I would NEVER order a pink car.

Purple maybe :giggle:

Possibly because of some of the extras I've chosen, or just to annoy me :giggle:

I'm sure it will be worth the wait. We waited 6 months for our first one.
