Tell me about it every time i go to wash the vRS it :rain::swear:

It always happens to me, i get the car washed and looking like new when it decides to rain.

usually happens to me after washing wife's car, white Fiat 500. Then again, I do live in Scotland! Shouldn't have let her get a white one again!

i now have rain spot all over it again :(

washed my monte yesterday.... rained this morn... the dirtiest rain ever! might as well have pourd a bag of cement over it!

yep, looks like sand all over mine, time get the pressure washer out so i don't rub it into the paint

I just washed mine due to the sandy rain that hit most of the UK

I'm just a scruffy git.. the cars not been washed in 6 months :giggle: Side windows get sponged over occasionally..

I foolishly treated my car with some AG Extra Gloss Protection on Saturday. Got the roof and bonnet done OK, except that a bird pooed on it straight after. Then 10 mins into waiting for the doors and wings to cure, the sky clouded over and the heavens opened. :@

you don't live in Scotland!!

having visited scotland on a number of occasions and knowing a few natives, i think scotland has an artic winter , and a mild winter, and shed loads of rain, but no summer

but having said that, when you do get good weather the countryside is fantastic

Been to Wales just as bad!

some great (pretty empty) roads too, if you know where to look

Carport... wash it in the rain. :D

most of the roads appear to have been made by someone who had been sampling to much of the local amber nectar as there is no more than couple of hundred metres of straight line roads at any time (usually between 2 pubs)

and what they class as an A road (particulally in the highlands) i would call a single track cart track

if you need straight roads you've been imbibing too much! most of the fun's to be had in the corners! up the west coast roads are unsurpassed anywhere in UK.

yep, roads up from skye to john o'groats is good, done that one a few years back, kids would not let me take the scenic routes (not on the suppose A roads) really don't know why

mind you the roads in snowdonia and hard knott pass in the lake district aren'y bad either
