rear wiper wont switch off

Featured Replies

my rear wiper on my car wont switch off, i bought the car 2 months ago and the rear washer and the wiper didnt work, i have now fixed the washer as the pipe had disconected itself inside the cabin and in the engine bay, i removed the boot molding to discover that the rear wiper wasnt pluged in to the wireing loom, i pluged it back in and then discoved that the wiper wasnt swithcing off no matter which location the wiper switch was in, i would like some help to diagnose the proplem or if there is a way to fix it without buying any new parts.

My lad had the same issue a couple or so years back with his previous 03 Classic HTP, started it up one morning and the rear wiper was going even though it was turned off. According to the garage water from the wash system had got into the motor electrics; so a new one was required. Fortunately this was covered by the RAC warranty that came with the car when he bought it.
