Wheels are different from the norm, good choice! Was the wheel alignment expensive at Revoloution? I've tried getting a price in the past and no joy from them.

Well this morning I decided to test fit one of the new wheels....

A little closer inspection....

So I will be ordering a set of 15mm spacers with new bolts etc...

Should look pretty cool once there all fitted.

15mm over-kill imho

Use a 8mm hubcentric

Personally I'd go for H&R

Do you think that £60 is for a pair or all four??

No, thats for two + longer wheels bolts

The H&R in a double-side hub-centric - eg you still get an external locating ring to aid fitting the wheel

The cheaper ones (FK etc) are flat faced, making fitting wheels not as actuate or easy

Iv just had another measure up and your right.... 15mm will be OTT and stick out to far.

Those 8mm ones should give a safe amount of calliper and shock clearance but not look to sticky outie so to speak lol.

Hey All,

Some advise please..

My current Audi TT wheels are 17" x 7.5" et32 and running 215/45/17 rubber.

My new wheels are 17" x 7.5 et35.

My plan is to just swap over my current tyres to the new wheels as they have only covered 1500 miles.

"Do people think my current tyres will look suitable on my new alloys??..."

Cheers

Hi All,

My spacers arrived 8mm H&R.

Got one concern though, If you notice in the picture there is no locating lip but im guessing the standard hub lip will sit through but will it be enough to locate the alloy correctly??? im guessing based on 8mm space i will have about 2mm of the original hub lip sticking through?? and if not will this cause any problems??.... help please.

Helps peeps...

Cheers Craig

That's odd

Mine look like so:

HnR_spacer_8mm.jpg

The H&R part number is 162555716

Mine has part number 16255571.

I rang DPM and the guy said the ones like yours are £80 a pair not £60 but the only way you can tell on their web site is by the part number, The descriptions for both spacers are the same.... :wall:

A guy at work as the flat spacers on his MK2 golf 8mm also and he says enough of the standard hub lip comes through to fit correctly so i am hoping this will be the same on the Skoda other wise looks like im stuck with these..

Cheers craig

No seen those flat ones before. All the research I did before replacing my Creations Motorsports ones indicated H&R's all had the lip at 8mm

£80 is really taking the pee

Well I test fitted the spacers and what a surprise they don't allow enough of the hub lip to come through so the alloy just floats about.

Al be on the phone tomorrow to exchange them for the lipped version.

Is there anything straight forward these days??

Hi All,

Well i did order some front bumper side vents from SuperSkoda but after 2 weeks and still no items i noticed they refunded my money.... i guess they dont have stock anymore?? i mailed but no responce??..

Anyways i then picked up these bad boys for a £5.00 and thought i would attempt my own version, I will be also painting these matt black to match the other grills / vents etc. Might cut the bumper and fit these over the weekend.
