Ummm it's tempting In a wild spontaneous purchase!...

But as already advised above I don't think it woud work in the real world.

I defiantly want to change the TT wheels at some point!

  • Hi All, Well i have finished of the coilovers! and its low low low!...... The front bumper is only 2.5" of the ground which may cause problems in my area due to bloody speed humps so tomorrow night g

Should of wet vaxxed those seats before install

Do they not advise against staggered set ups on 4x4 cars?

But even still without arch work I think you may struggle,I run 9.5x18 on the rear of mine with 225/35/18 but mines a hatch with the arches rolled inside and then flared out and I believe that the rear on the estate is a bit tighter for space but if your willing to do the work I'm sure it's possible

Mine rubbed at the rear with 8" wheels and 225 tyres.

Hi All,

Well hopefully this week I will get round to fitting my rear adjustable tie arms and I have 2 new track rods ends to fit also.

Then it will be off to get 4 wheel alignment / full suspension set up correctly.

On a bad note:

Yesterday I started the car up and whilst it was sitting ticking over 2 nice big blue clouds of smoke bellowed out the exhaust, I had a run out and done about 70 miles and did not smoke one bit.

I think this is going to be valve stem oil seals???.....

Cheers Craig.

Hi All,

After fitting my Golf seats i noticed the arm rest now did not match as this was the old grey colour as per the elegance seats.

So i bought some black alcantara material and had a go at recovering.

Results..... i will get it fitted later today.

Hi All,

Little update.

I got the car back after track rod ends and the Neuspeed tie arms fitted, The arms have already made a differance and stopped the back end tramlining (they arrived still set from when on Clive's car).

Im off to Revoloution in Newcastle tomorrow and having the tracking set / 4 wheels alignment / ride height set level and the rear camber set up.

I have also bought a Neuspeed rear anti roll bar from CNTUNING which should arrive next week, Cheers Clive.

Also bought an extension solid pipe to move the air filter down behind the bumper vent, This should also arrive next week.

Will update with pics soon as.

Hi All,

Well I cut open the n/s bumper vent but it looks a little rough, so I have ordered a proper air duct which I will modify to fit and it comes with mesh so will look loads neater I hope.

Also not to happy with the blue silicone hose from the MAF to the new pipe and its a tad to short. I have ordered a new longer piece in black to tidy the joint up.

Getting there slowly but surely ha ha.

Question: I have noticed a few Octavia's with these side vents in the front bumper, where to I get these from????

Update,

Well this morning I changed out the old crappy plastic tube that runs from the engine to the boost gauge for some decent silicone tubing.

Also iv painted the two lower vents on the bumper matt black to match my grill etc.

Correct 70mm ID.

Luckily this was just a typo and I had actually ordered 70mm ID which slotted straight on
