  • Hi All, Just a quick photo of the Wagon looking guilty........... Craig..

  • Hi All,   Well unfortunately the skoda did sell and went to a local VAG guy not far from me whom has already fitted Audi S3 leather and Brembo BBK......   Im going to be working away in Norway alo

  • Hi All, Well i have finished of the coilovers! and its low low low!...... The front bumper is only 2.5" of the ground which may cause problems in my area due to bloody speed humps so tomorrow night g

Leave it low and adjust your driving! Get a splitter on there post haste and slow down a little more.

I think mine is just as low and i drive like a loon and my sump is more than fine

Also not bouncy in the slightest! Rear bumpstops trimmed and im running kw v1's and id say it has 90% of the comfort of stock suspension

Hi All,

Question please...

My new correct 2 bar gauge as arrived and just woundering where and which pipe to i cut? To put the tee piece in for the new pipe?

Any advise / pics will be great.

Ohh i have a brand new 1 bar Tim gauge if any body needs one??..

Cheers Craig...

Good stuff, all about the 4x4 estate's modded

Pictures of the height on my sleeper and few more mods than yours but same goal :) link below

I live in semi rural and ended up setting the height a lot heigher than yours, again suspension travel was needed for my fast back road trip to work and as I use it to tow the track car and family running around did not want to get caught out with evil speed bumps etc. In fact I think having it not so low helps feed the sleeper looks more

New front ARB bushes have arrived.

IMG_0450.jpg

So will get these fitted over the next day or so and thats all the front suspention pretty much brand new.

Side note..

One of the guys i work has Nissan primera Waggon, So thought i would take a quick snap this morning..

IMG_0448.jpg

Cheers craig...

I have a 4bar bosch FPR and certainly on the revo stg2+ is a straight fit and no changes required. Not going to make anyore power but more likely to give a touch better response low down - you will know if it does not like the new one a few miles in and if so change bk ;)

However its not fitted lol - but did fit one on my old renault 5 turbo with this same setup historically and had confirmation from revo above not long bk as I had planned to change over

His looks like an offroader by comparison, he needs to lower it, and, put a skoda body and engine on it, and all other sundries - itll be a cracker

Hi All,

Well i had an hour spare before the pub the night so thought i would get the boost gauge fitted.

I have an A-Post gauge mount but i also ordered a stand alone type, Which i plumbed for.

I stripped back the skuttle and the wipers off, noticed most of the harness goes through on the drivers side of the bulkhead but also noticed the pollen filter entrance on the passanger side which was much easier option and the boost pipes just fell through into the car! so i went this route and chose the stand alone mount....

Pics people....

I think the green on the Tim Gauge goes well with the skoda badge!..

Im going tomorrow to get the exhaust priced up, Got 2 options for this! I.E. 2 different fabricators but im off work this week coming and will be willing to pay a couple of hundred more if i can get it done this week while im off.

Also gona fit the new ARB Bushes this weekend!.

Cheers Craig....

So today i statred to Clay Bar the car as it did have overspray and lots of tar spots pretty much all over, It took me about 4 hours to to the car but the paint work feels smooth as babys bottom now!!!..

Few after pics but the sun decided to hide ha ha.

I have also removed the Chrome part of the front grill and getting this painted to match the wheels, this should be ready to collect tomorrow.

Exhaust update: Car got measured up today for the exhaust and it is booked in Monday 20th to get all fitted! So looking forward to that. The company is also making the old cat so we can fit it back in to the new system for M.O.T's etc.

Hope to have a better update soon.

Cheers Craig..

Where you getting the exhaust done mate? I'm after one before the end of the month and can't choose between off the shelf or custom.

Good progress by the way

clay barring was a necessity, it looks great, but was a bit pink before

Well i wanted a company in Ryton near Newcastle to custom make it, Their called Advanced Automotive Soloutions (ASS) and have done work for me in the past but it was going to be October before they could fit me in!!!....

So i went to a local company in Ashington called Tints and Tweeks, This guy has also made a couple of exhausts for me and he could do it within the week, Full custom jobby, So booked it straight in.

I thought it might be Tints n Tweeks, I went there a few weeks ago but they didn't have any samples to show me. I suppose if you're going back then the quality must be good.

I have known James @ Tints and Tweeks for a good few years now, He made a full race exhaust for my old MK2 Golf GTi track car which was a top job and also made a system for my old MG-ZR which again was spot on.

I have not heard any bad reports and can say he carrys out great work.

Hi All,

I have chased up Forge with regards to my FMIC and they have advised it will be with me Friday / Monday.

Another update i wanted the grill to match the wheels but my painter could not get the plastic primer to stay on the chrome??... Not sure what happend here like but never mind, So i have just painted it Matt Black and dont look bad!!!,,, Better than chrome anyways.

Chrome Before..

IMG_0459.jpg

And matt black.

Loads better i think...

Cheers Craig.

much better mate, if you do a serch for plasti dip on ebay(matt black) as that will start to chip very soon, and yes the chrome is the issue, plastidip hard to chip and can be peeled away when finished with

only problem is, now you need smoked(ish) headlights to match ... ;)

You need to sack your painter i think

only problem is, now you need smoked(ish) headlights to match ... ;)
