what price have people been paying for the blackline did dealers come down at all on them ? £18200 i was told for a manual estate thats with the money of with finance

Dealers will stand firm as they will claim nothing left to play with. Vat off and free servicing and 'Low rate finance' is plenty. They know they will all sell so they might let you walk.

Just found out mine's not due until 2nd week in Oct and even that date might 'fluctuate'. September really does seem to be dragging :-(

Just as a matter of interest,if I were to buy a diesel one and not cover many miles,would the dpf be covered by warranty?

I'd love one but only do 5000 per year (mainly in 7mile commutes) so think I could have dpf problems.

What if it keeps failing?

Ditto with my deal - I think my mudflaps are even getting fitted for free!

I have owned many, many cars - most of them performance - and I don't think I have EVER looked forward to getting a car as much as this VRS.

Who has the earliest order date? On the vehicle status sheet I have it says 11/09 but ordered end of Aug.

I put pen to paper on the 21st August at Derek Slacks - but then the cars couldn't be allocated as they were not yet on their system.

Do you have a view of the formal order, I presume mine was held waiting official release of the black line.

When I bought my last brand new car I ordered it in November and picked it up March 1st!

That was torture, but meant I could save more

Interesting. My dealer called me and explained the upgrade for bluetooth would require fitting a amundsen + whcih would be cost prohibitive (i'm sure there are cheaper ways). However I asked him, how can it have DAB as the standard Amundsen does not come with DAB, he was't sure it was just what Skoda had told him. So I've still not had a clear answer on which version it is, and if its the standard Amundsen, how it supports DAB (as the manual/ tech spec doesn't mention DAB).

He also said that shipping days are Weds and Fri, so he said it may make its way over tomorrow or Friday. He mentioned the Skoda sales team are pushing for them to be delivered asap as they will get the figures for Sept which clearly improves their targets / bonus.

How did you get that PDF? As i have not been provided with anything like that.

I have a screen shot of the whole order page that is just a snippet, as I said before and this is all supposition:- Amundsen plus model fitted (user manual says includes DAB and bluetooth) standard Amundsen headunit does not have DAB mentioned in the user manual.

As you can see from the screen grab that the plus unit is fitted along with integrated data storage (this tallys with the RNS315 spec) even today SUK could not 100% confirm what features the plus unit has included as standard.

Anyone else been given delivery dates? OP?

Yup mine will be delivered to me on the 29th of Oct.I did ordered it way back though and it's tax free.My order form does say the delivery date to be the 23rd of Nov which was not helping me as I am moving back to Uk and really wanted to take the tax free opportunity.The deler was kind enough to move it to 29th of Oct whic is cool.I have ordered a Black on Black,hope it will look as striking as the White ones :think:

Spoke to dealer today, apparently still showing as shipping, how long does the boat trip take?!?

I ordered my Black Blackline (Manual) on the 5th Of Sept. The salesman (Friend of mine) told me delivery would be the end of september. He has further informed me on the 12th, that i should expect delivery within 7-10 days [of the 12th].

Cant really excuse my impatience, im driving the poor sod mad wanting to know when its due!!

Just spoken to a nice lady at skoda uk gave her my order number and she said that it was at the port ready to go onto a boat soon,but they have lots of cars to ship and my order was placed on the 10th of sept and it will be another 5 days or so before my car becomes a priority and then it will go on the boat.when i asked for her guestimate on how long until it gets here she said 2 weeks ish.

The lack of clarity on what model amundsen supplied was annoying me so I called SUK earlier. At first the woman said it was just the standard amundsen as it didn't mention the plus version. So I asked for a part number, she went away and came back and said that it is indeed the amundsen plus. Which tallies with dab feature.

However she said it does not come with Bluetooth. Not sure im convinced as info seems to be unreliable. How could you get an amundsen plus without it?

Hi everyone, I ordered a black DSG blackline estate yesterday. I presume I'm the only one that has ordered this spec because the dealer first said it would be end of October, however they called this morning to say they have one on its way and will be ready to pick up on the 28th September.

I can't wait to get my first Skoda!

Good effort, can you take some photos when you get it??? Im going for black hatch, worried it wont look as good as i THINK it will look.
