Has anyone been given a delivery date for the Blackline Octavia VRS?

Featured Replies

Track my skoda only works for vehicles ordered with rainworth skoda. If they are waiting shipping it shouldnt be too long usually 2-3 weeks sometimes even quicker

Thanks Allan1888 thats cleared that up. The weeks can't pass quick enough. There's a few decent VRS based personal number plates on DVLA for under 400 quid. As I'm on the PCP scheme, I'm assuming I can't add personalised plates until I've paid final settlement figure.

Christ mate. I bet your a riot at party's. I'm closer to 40 than 30 and don't appreciate being referred to as a kid, simply because I'm looking forward to getting my Blackline. In my opinion, kids d

Don't see why not, PCP is personal finance, not lease. You are the registered owner and keeper, the finance company has a financial interest in the car, it doesn't own it as such.

Anyone else been given delivery dates? OP?

Anyone else been given delivery dates? OP?

Eh? You asked this in post 147, I answered in 148?

Just been to the dealers to drop off my log book, apparently my cars on a boat so will be about 2-3 weeks?

Not sure if it will be boat of Blacklines?

Would that make it a blackliner?

Groan.

I got a delivery date of two weeks today (white) but having second thoughts as no maxidot it seems, guy also told me it was the alcantara interior but having checked it is not. the red stitching breaks it up a bit. told me it had front sensors but seems now they are going to retrofit them which i really dont wnat.

can anyone confirm maxidot comes with the satnav as standrd? also he told me it had BT but i am sure i need the other bits of kit for it to work?

seems i might be changing my order

Just ordered my DSG Hatch Blackline today from Derek Slacks in Teesside. Looking on the screen the cars are currently at the port for shipping to the UK. From experience this normally means 2-3 weeks before you get your grubby mits on them. They're aiming for the 27/28th Sept for me (working away next couple of weeks so it suits me fine).

Apparently there is only 70 or so blacklines still available!! So get your order in ASAP!!!!!

Great service from the team at Derek Slacks (again) i'm getting them to fit a FISCON plus bluetooth unit to make up for the lack of MDI mainly (bluetooth ADAP to make up for it). Need to get them to fit a set of mud flaps as my existing white vRS is lacking in the paint dept on the underside of the rear bumper at the moment.

Only gripe is no heated seats, and the fact that there a fortune to retro fit!!

No bt on the blackline. Seats are leather and synthetic leather. Rear sensors only. Alsono mention of maxi dot, but other thread seems to suggest this will come with sat nav, but I am not sure or bothered.

I am going to check with the dealer tomorrow. Have all the chrome bits now become carbon look accept for the door handles? BT can be retro fitted easily so no big issue.

As far as I know maxidot only comes standard when you buy a DSG other than that you have to spec it which ain't possible on the blackline.

I ordered mine from Derek Slacks last month - and was told a few weeks ago that I might get mine late September, but probably early October. If they are telling you to expect yours this month I think I will give them another phone and ask what's going on. I too asked for mudflaps to be put on, but they seemed reluctant to fit the back ones due to the well known ill-fitting issue. I will double check on them still doing that as well. The last thing I want is to go and collect my car and find its not been done.

Seems the Blackline will come with BT as the satnav is the plus version which has DAB based on the user manual it comes with BT for streaming and Phone.

Seems also that the Blackline will come with maxidot (coded on the vehicle spec to) as the satnav needs it.

Here is the user manual link i have included both the standard and plus versions

PLUS with DAB https://mediaportal....ationSystem.pdf

Standard http://www.google.co...j1sYnIn4wX78Xew

The literature is not so clear.

This would be a nice addition for those who have ordered a Blackline.

However, I think people shouldn't get their hopes up, if it did come with all these extras why is it not advertised in the brochure? This would be a lot more attractive if true and Skoda have missed a trick by not mentioning it.

I would go under the assumption that you are not getting it - and if you do then you have a result!

Cheers.

My thoughts exactly. As nice as it'd be, the brochure thinks otherwise.

Just because the radio has the phone button that doesn't mean it comes with BT. You can spec a Columbus unit from factory and that doesn't have BT but still has the button for phone due to it being Phone ready all you need is the BT unit to complete it. Sat Nav doesn't need the maxi-dot display so if there is no mention of maxi-dot in the spec I would doubt that it will be fitted only the DSG model will get maxi-dot as standard?

Click on this link it gives the spec of the Blackline. Maxi-dot is DSG only according to this also no BT just change the trim level to blackline

I went back to the dealer today and they are adamant that the spec list (coding) has maxidot listed, they were also adamant that the satnav plus had bluetooth (I did argue the point that it needed the BT module like the columbus and bolero but the user manual seems to indicate that it has bluetooth) if you look at the standard manual it states you have to have the pre installed BT however in the plus manual it seems very clear that it has BT

I have already told the dealer that no maxidot no sale.

I think they will have to check with SUK

The Amundsen+ doesn't have Bluetooth built in, as with most things skoda, the info is wrong.

Probably all that it lacks it the BT module, or the Blackline is the non + model with the DAB module....?

Anyway, patience is the key i think...

I'm not denying what the dealer has told you but going from the link I posted when you select the blackline spec it tells you maxi-dot is standard on DSG only which is the same as all the other Vrs out there

It's all very confusing, once I get the call tomorrow I will let you all know.

Hi all I'm new and I'm going to order a VRS in the next couple of weeks.

I test drove one today and it's a great car and fantastic value.

I'm really interested in the blackline DSG because I need sat-nav but I also need bluetooth and blackline would save me some cash. Can the bluetooth module be fitted by the dealer or must it be a factory option? I asked during my test drive but the salesman didn't have a clue nor did his colleague.

BT can be retro-fitted easily enough. Dealer might only put in a generic system though. The factory BT can be self-installed in a couple of hours for about £150, which is a better option

Happiness. Ordered white Blackline today. Dealer said cars built in factory. Delivery a couple of weeks. The car is also featured in the new skoda brochure. Servicing: the free servicing is three times 10000 mile service so I needed to factor in a couple more on my deal. Also negotiated with the dealer and reached a happy conclusion - new vrs at a lower cost than my old vrs, which I part exchanged. Old vrs also white and after 36'k still looks incredibly good. Ps: I would be surprised if all components shipped to uk and retro fitted...this suggests 500 vrs'es are sat around either in Europe or uk (yes I know uk is Europe but in my heart it is not!)...
