Oh dear, thats the one i've ordered the white estate. Doesn't look as good as I was hoping it might. That's the first time I've seen a proper photo of one. Just hope it looks better in real life.

I think the reason why I dont like it is that there is no other black on the outside of the car to set it off. Maybe if it had black wing mirrors it would look better or black headlight surrounds? (which the Fabia VRS has???) Something like this-

Problem is that you have a lot of white on a big car with unrecognisable black wheels (easy and cheap cosmetic change which doesn't add design value). I prefer a white VRS and silver alloys myself with subtle dark areas ie sunset glass. Maybe I am getting too old...

Red/black is a good combination (currently got that on my 1.8 Polo GTI) http://www.volkswagen.co.jp/PoloGTI/base.jpg but white/black doesnt pull it off as well. Not a design expert by any means, but think the white/black are just at opposite ends of the colour spectrum.

There will definately be some on way today, though not sure how many at dock will be sent. SUK have 2 shipments due in UK. One is arriving on 23rd and other on 27th. From arrival it takes about 5 days to get to dealer and prepared. Tallies with eta of 28th / 1st week of Oct.

I just went on a live shipping tracker and there are 2 shipments coming in tomorrow to Grimsby, I found out the names of 2 ships that do the deliveries and they are both on there way fingers crossed our cars will be on there and will be ready for next week.

The dealers will be pushing for them to get here for the end of the month, as it will boost there numbers for this month, meaning a bigger bonus for them as well.

Mine was sat at the port for a week hopefully shipped today. But I reckon at least 1/2 weeks before they are available. Given up on a Sept date.

Likewise matrixdesign2 I'm expecting mine 1st week of Oct. I have a 200 journey to Edinburgh to get mine. soo looking forward to collecting it.

Like Welsh_Kai_Boy I had an agreement if not with me by end of Sept I can cancel, but willing to wait - they will offer me fuel for the amount lost (1months tax!), confirmed my car is on the boat, should land soon, then one week to prep, I am told I should be able to collect 1 week Monday.

Another Blackline owner here. Chose a white manual. Dealer said they're expecting delivery mid October.

2 ships left Emden where they are shipped from yesterday and docke in Grimsby this morning. My dealer said a ship leaves tomorrow and Monday, I checked the manifest for departures from Emden and there are no ships leaving tomorrow to Grimsby. I think the ships that were suppose to leave tomorrow and Monday left early! Hey I can only hope, fingers crossed!

BT has not been 100% confirmed yet, the Plus version manual seems to indicate integrated BT this along with the RNS315 spec however everyone is not completely sold that it comes with BT. See some of my earlier links in this thread.

DSG Blackline definitely comes with Maxidot. There is anecdotal evidence to suggest the Manual one will, too.

I'm working on the assumption that i'm not getting either Maxidot or Bluetooth - if i get either, then it'll be a bonus.
