Yeah of course... it looks like there are only another 5 black DSG estates to be built and 1 other than mine already built. Only a handful of the other colour estates too. Unless there are more to be added to the list of vehicles to be built, not really sure how it works.

I was originally planning on getting a black or grey normal vRS as I'm not massively keen on black wheels. However the deal on the blackline was just far too good to pass on. I'm sure I will live with them. It's difficult as I haven't seen any photos of black on black estates apart from with aftermarket wheels.

How could you get an amundsen plus without it?

As I've said before, the fabia comes with Amundsen + but no Bluetooth, likewise I've had an octavia with Amundsen +, built in storage, but no Bluetooth. Search for RNS315 on the bay, some have it, some don't..you may be lucky

This may help - the option for BT appears to be a hidden menu with VCDS - may or may not be activated.....

Someone on here tried it and it didn't work...that's not to say it might not on others; it's just a case of wait and see.

Despite being told end of Sept, I now expect delivery first or second week in Oct! Seems that they are waiting to fill the boat! I guess I will save a few more £££s in the meantime.

Ordered a Blackline estate dsg in white this morning and was told all non-stock cars will be built wk 40 for delivery around the end of Oct. No firm delivery date yet.

Just out of interest guys but why is the Blackline DSG listed as tax band F compared to standard vrs dsg tax band of G? Misprint?

Its not a misprint, I believe the DSG version pumps out more emissions so it creeps into the next bracket.

i know this is slightly off topic but i am seriouly thinking of getting mine profesionally "new car detailed" and paint sealant applied as soon as i get mine. what are your thoughts.........

Me too - will take it to Divine Detailing in Harrogate. It will help protect it over the crappy winter months that are fast coming up. Plus, I live in a rural area where the roads are always covered with mud that tractors have dragged out from the fields. Annoying.

Any recommended places in northwest / merseyside area that offer this service professionally?

So the VRS Blackline isn't available in rep of Ireland but I ordered my white vrs with the black neptunes, red stitch interior and the same DAB sat nav as the Blackline. When the dealer was building the car package the system forced him to click an extra for a different bluetooth as the Amundsen + has different settings. He told me that BT was standard in the plus version of the system. I got build week 42 but it's staying in the dealers until January so I'll register it in the new year. All I need to do now is keep the 2011 vrs I have safe and sound until jan!!!

Like the idea of a blackline and all the extras but don't like black alloys - cant see the design.

Doesn't go with white very well either - and this would be my first choice.

Personal opinion. I think white and black goes very well. Blue and black is ok and black and black is too much for me. I went for blue, whites too common on road for my liking.

It probably looks different in the flesh, but I don't like the wheels in gloss black at all. Matt black might look better...

The black on black VRS looks ok but would be better if the car was matt black. Saw an X6 on the road in matt black. Must have been a wrap or something. Looked amazing, live a stealth fighter. Probably horrendous to keep looking good though.

White on black looks better IMO but i would prefer gun metal alloys, think they look amazing.

Oh dear, thats the one i've ordered the white estate. Doesn't look as good as I was hoping it might. That's the first time I've seen a proper photo of one. Just hope it looks better in real life.

Listen buddy. IF you don't like the black alloys, just get the wheels powdercoated. It will cost you between £200/£300 for a colour of your choice, and then you'll feel much happier knowing you got all that extra free kit in a car that you will like more.

That's my plan. I might go for the shadow chrome look on mine eventually.
