I asked my dealer who saw it in Milton Keynes last week and she confirmed it has Bluetooth as well. I also looked at the Amundsen manual and it show you how to link your phone to it through Bluetooth.

Another ship on its way to Grimsby, fingers crossed.

In terms of the shipment dates, I got them from SUK and my dealer. I'm not sure if mine has left the dock - but it had been waiting at Emden for over a week, so I am assuming mine is on its way already or early next week. I suspect once it hits the UK my dealer will know more. I had been given a date of 28th so hopefully get it a week tomorrow (as I can't pick it up on Fri).

My dealer told me last week and there have been a few shipments as well, my dealer is trying to get it to before the end of the month so hey will get it in there figures for this month, so they can get a bigger bonus.

Sent SUK an enquiry regarding maxi dot. They rang me back this morning and told me it doesn't have maxidot apart from the DSG model obviously. That said, she told me she was just quoting the brochure.

Really could do with knowing for definite!

And I've had a terrible DSG itch since ordering the manual on Saturday. Will the dealer tell me it's too late to change my order?

I chased my dealer this morning. Gah!!!!

My car shipped yesterday, and is now bobbing around somewhere on the north sea. I asked him to be honest and he said he would expect the car to hit the delership around this Friday, but then it needs it's pdi doing so I imagine it will be early the next week till I get my grubby little paws on it.

This is THE worst wait ever.

That must mean that my car was already landed when I ordered it as they said it was an available car.

Toyed with a DSG but mrs was a bit dubious about having an auto and without one to test drive put money down on a manual.

DSG is the one i've ordered, have it now albeit the 7 speed and its superb..

If you get a chance to drive the DSG Take it. I had exactly the same reservations about an 'automatic' and I can honestly say I wouldn't go back to manual. The DSG is no normal automatic.

I know this (from what I've read) but convincing SWMBO is a different matter. Still, I've told her we're test driving one at the weekend, cause I don't want any niggles after an 18 grand purchase. I think the dealer put her off when she test drove the manual, saying the DSG was pants in the snow/winter weather (although it's not as if we live in the sticks in the middle of nowhere) and that the fuel economy was worse significantly worse.

My own fault for bottling it though over the weekend.
