Picking up the car from the bodyshop within the next hour or so. Been lost without if for 3 days! Just hope theyve done a good job as Im bloody fussy haha!

Getting home will be a challenge with the 12 inches of snow we've got!

What you get done after dan, that bit on the arch was it?

The bit on the arch mate and also the rear bumper. Leaving soon turns out I'd forgotten I'd have to dig the whole drive out before going haha!

Cool hope your happy with it. i need my rear bumper doing aswell, well and my front.

Picked the car up and I'm very happy with the work! Couldn't believe what a difference there was. No pics as you can see nothing but snow! They even have it a wash, a de-tar and some kind of sealant across the whole car - lovely beading on it now. Will let the paint harden a couple of weeks and the weather to warm up before I seal it all up myself :)

Getting home was interesting!

I'm bored of black wheels now though :( or it could be just that I'm bored of them wheels.

Today I got super bored mainly because of this

Panel Fix in St Martins mate, Im very pleased with it, they had the car about 3.5 days and charged me £330. Will hopefully go back soon to have the rear spoiler done and the 2 mirror caps as theres a couple of scrapes on them :(

Today is set about modifying the undertray. There's never been 10 screws holding it on since I owned it, and yesterday I got stuck in the snow. Missus Dad had to pull me out but it broke the rear part of the under tray. I should have done this a while ago as it's always pretty prone to scraping when I go over bumps etc

Also snapped a pic of the down pipe while I was there....random!

Fitted the fmic yesterday, everything went smoothly and Im very happy with how easy the pipework all went together. The pipework and car required some trimming here and there but its all worth it :)

Looks great mate :)

Fitted these the other day

Weak handbrake is cured, cannot believe the difference.

Also pick this up and fitted it this morning. Makes a great deal of difference well from what I can tell from my knackered coilovers!!

Along with the RARB also changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter and pollen filter. **** me the sump plug was super tight, last person to do that up must have been the hulk! Luckily managed to squeeze a 30mm ring sonnet over and use it as a lever.

Couple of pics

Now in considering getting a cone filter just to try it!

Can't decide between an enclosed one of the big Jetex ones that have been used on here previously!

Christ thats a big cooler! Are you keeping it hidden or going to do a widemouth?

what did you fit to the rear brakes to make your handbrake actually work? mines crap lol.

I can't decide whether to wide mouth or not? If I do then I'm going to need the ibiza crash bar and then get it powder coated so it looks good. I don't really like the idea of the stick on mini plates. I could deal with a smaller plate cable tied in the centre of the mesh though, would keep the symmetry of the front end.

The things fitted to the rear calipers are those caliper return springs. Nice and firm handbrake now :)

Where did you get the caliper return springs from? I could do with doing that on mine. The handbrake on these furby's are terrible!

TBH, the OSR caliper needs replacing, as the rubber gaitor where the handbrake goes through isn't returning properly.

Are the caliper return springs road legal for MOT's?

Cheers mate

Well aye there is that, can you not just cut some of the crash bar away? or make some holes in it to keep its rigidity?

might have to find myself some of them...

Go for an open cone filter dan..

Ebay mate, cant rally see why they arent road legal, theyre fitted to a range of Audis and Fords now etc.

The fabia crash bar is ugly mate, the Ibiza one is smooth and a bit thinner so you wouldnt see it as much through the wide mouth.

Go for an open cone filter dan..

Ordered one of those Jetex ones mate, apparently they arent oiled so a little kinder to the MAF.
