That sounds prety cheep for the exhaust. What do you think to it? Does it sound well? I wanted mine doing but I wanted a little turbo howl not sure if these systems do it or not.

Sounds nice mate, surprisingly I can hear more turbo noise with the silencer, I sometimes wish it was a bit louder but then again I wanted a subtle system which doesn't attract attention.

The turbo howl is apparently down to how they are mapped! I've got a shark map and mine doesn't do it, did it a bit when I had a Mufflerectomy though.

Will being them indoors to harden over night then fit them tomorrow!

Ooh looks lovely. I do like colour coded door handles :)

Going to look brilliant.

Hopefully it will, they look a bit lighter than the car but my car is the dirtiest its ever been, will fit them then clean them tomorrow. Also worth remembering that the car is 8 years old so will have faded etc.

It needs machiene polishing but I have so many things to buy :(

Looking forward to seeing your progress with an intercooler.

You got all the bits you need?

I just need one more 90' and I'm ready for the weekend!

So am I mate! I ordered the couplers from Forge today :)

Need to order the 2 90 degree silicone reducers, some mikalor clamps and that map boss sensor thing from Darkside! Not much to buy but still comes to around £75 :( I will buy it but mate a bit closer to pay day! The 5 week month, 3 birthdays and Mother's Day isn't helping!

What's happening on the weekend Phil? :)

Wish I'd seen that before..! Just spent £30 odd on clamps on ebay!!

My intercooler connector snapped off on Sunday, so used the old 'might as well upgrade' mind set and have bought a biggish cooler and pipes etc.. Should be going on Saturday morning if it all arrives on time!

I bought the map pipe from forge in the end as it was a bit cheaper than darkside.

U end up getting trade discount then phil?

Sounds good! Make sure you take some pics ;) that's the one thing you must do!

Never heard of them snapping before though. Actually you've just reminded me I've left the cooler soaking full of petrol on the barn - should clean the oil out of it nicely!

Cheers for the link South, I will be ordering the clamps from JJC Race & Rally (basically Demon Tweeks) the site you posted is cheap providing you spend more than £25! If not then you get stung £6 postage - I only need 8 clamps of 3 different sizes :)

Door handles will look sweet when you get them fitted. Think that's my next thing to do after I finish subtly red and glossing the insides.

I may attack the interior with some gloss black tomorrow! So pleased with the finish of the door handles! Not 100% by far but my bad for a finish in a freezing cold barn with a space heater!

U end up getting trade discount then phil?

I emailed them, but haven't had a reply.. If I didn't need one Asap I'd have been happier to have waited!

Just fitted 2 of the door handles! Lost my temper so will do the other 2 after I've calmed down lol.

Also just decided that I'm going to remove the 20mm rear spacers and sell them on!

That's how i was on Sunday when doing mine. :D It was annoying me how the handle didn't seem to want to go back in properly, even though i fed it in the same way i'd taken the other one out but for some reason it wasn't slotting in too easily. The black plastic bit between the lock and door was also annoying me by keep falling out just from the slightest of touches!! :D

Thankfully one of my brothers was on hand to help out, even though he did break the bit behind the door on the rear one but didn't bother me too much as need to take the door cards off soon to seal up any potential leaks. :)

It's just fiddly lol. I think if any one was helping me I'd have punch them straight in the face!

The hardest bit is loosening the screws! They are so tight and I've already snapped 1 screw driver - I've got no pliars or anything either because some numpty has locked up the barn and taken the key to work with them.....I can't even break in as the alarm will go mental lol!

I'm just off to do the other 2 now - wish me luck!

Good luck. :peek:

Front passenger side fitted, did that one in about 4 mins! Why couldn't they all be that easy! Rear one is solid though, I've bent the screw driver like a banana, so rather than risk snapping it I'll have to wait till they arrive home with some keys for me to do the rear :)

Door handles are all now complete.

Now my ******* windscreen has cracked. This intercooler is destined not to be ******* fitted! My insurance excess for windscreen is £70 does any body know how much a windscreen costs?

More than £70 for a windscreen..

Spacers.. Talk to me!

I will have to call my insurance company and see what they say as to whether it will effect my NCB.

Maybe I will post some pics tomorrow, I had cleaned it but now it's dirty again!

If you go through Autoglass, then you only pay your insurance excess for the windscreen and it's never effected my NCB before and i'm on my 3rd or 4th windscreen now.

The excess will go up slightly though or at least it did with Direct Line.

Car is booked in for some paint! There's been a mark on the rear bumper since I bought it so I'm having that done and also a chip on the rear quarter and near the rear light which I think the whole rear quarter is being done anyway! Booked in on March the 19th for 3 days. After that will be giving it a damn good clean, polish and a seal.

Can't wait to see how it comes back :)

So I arrived to my normal home last night with these waiting for me, managed to test fit today to ensure everything is well...

And a test fit of the EGR Coupler as Forge didn't know if they made the correct size....

Will be nice and tight with the seal on there, didn't want to remove the seal from the standard pipe just I case it broke or I disturbed anything which may cause a leak!
