Elephant mate, couldn't believe it to be honest! Did a quote on compare the market then rang them up to make sure they got all the mods right and they were happy with it all. So paid the year in 1 hit!

I should add i do have 3 points but have been driving for over 14 years. Time to change when renewal comes around.

Just done the Elephant mod!

Thanks to Josh for posting me out the blanking plug and jubilee clip! FOC too :D

Very easy to do, longest part was jacking the car up to route the pipe somewhere.

Also removed that carpet cover under the bonnet, looks alot tidier, and was spotless under there, will attack the engine bay soon.

Just about to order some tardis as the amount of tar down the sides of the car / on the rear is stupid!

Even though i've bought the catch can, part of me is feeling like like just running the pipe down underneath the car. Saves the hassle of trying to secure the catch can.

I thought about that too but on cold wet days steam can come out of the pipe. Not such a good look lol

Catch can is easy to fit :) looks cool too.

Nice wee project Dan. ou get amazing MPG compared to me I'm only getting about 41 on B roads but i do short journys to work atm, think i need a service.

I'd toyed with fitting a catch can but I don't want the bay to look to busy :) the steam doesn't bother me really since I spend little time stood still - the joys of living in the country side ;)

Thanks Pikachu! Mpg could be better but yours is very low!

Haha know what you mean about living in the countryside. You don't stay still much :)

Also I had a little delivery today for you mate :) I'll get you some pics as I go :)

The country side has it's pros and cons, potholes and mud being the cons!

Ooooo thanks mate, looking forward to it!

Yeah know what you mean. Country roads are a giggle though until you find the mud. Badgers round are way can be bad. They're massive beasties lol

So fitted the spacers about a week ago....

Also got hold of some pre-facelift and got the tinting vinyl out! Opinions? As opposed to....

Did you have to use longer bolts as you've fitted spacers??

well i got it up to 50mpg tonight with the catch can so def needs a service haha.

Nothing annoys me more on internet forums, when people quote a post with numerous pictures in it.

On the front I did since thebolt goes through the spacer but the rear spacers are bolt on ones therefore the spacer bolts to the car then the wheel bolts to the spacer :)

My average on the last tank was 43 mpg, mines getting worse, I suppose its all the hills around here!

Looking good mate, can't wait to see it all fitted, shame it will soon be coming to the long nights though, will make those late night drives more pleasurable though :)
