Considering a 30mm drop on Eibach springs........your thoughts please

Featured Replies

I think I have finally decided on what lowering springs I will be ordering for the Monte.....

Eibach 30mm lowering springs. I have seen plenty on the Skoda approved 20mm lowering springs, but fancy something a little lower, but not quite the 40mm of the H&R's. LINK

Anyone else fitted these?

Good/Bad any comments welcome!!

Cheers,

Steve

Maybe call Colin or Gary & see what they can do for you and if they can beat any others prices.

Steve :)

can anyone point me in the direction of some pics of a monte with the standard skoda approved 20mm springs? Would like to see whether the drop looks much different but my searches haven't proved to be fruitful.

cheers.

Does the VRS need any camber adjustment when lowered on Eibachs? I had to do get a rear camber kit on my previous ride, a Ford Focus.

Not for the 20mm springs, I had a full geometry set up done one mine after fitting, which is why i went to a specialist rather than Skoda

The only adjustments that were made were due to the factory setting it wrong as my car had only done 800 miles
