THE 1ST MEETING OF 2012

THE 1ST TEESSIDE SKODA MEETING 11-11-2012

ABOUT THE MEET

This month we are having the Meet at NAVIGATION WAY ,TEES BARRAGE

as this thought to more picturesque for meeting photos

The general plan for the Meets is to arrive at the designated

location for the time listed on this topic which is early in the

afternoon so that we can make a day of it and use the available daylight.

The Meet Rep will try to arrive first and find the most empty spaces

so we can all park together and weather permiting have a good chin

wag and chat about each others cars and take some pics, we usually

stay outside to greet anyone who has yet to arrive and we will not be hard to find all parked together, plus the Meet Rep owns a skoda octavia CAPPACHINO BEIGE (08) so keep an eye out for it.

We shall always have the Meets near a Pub / Resturant or some where near so that we can

all enjoy the food and plus if the Weather takes a turn for the worst

or if its the Winter Months there is always somewhere warm to sit,

plus the fact that we have access to Toilet facillities helps.

These Meets are Family Friendly and we make Spouses and

Girlfriends very welcome, we will do our best to cater for Members

with Children and try to make sure all the Locations have Baby

changing facilities.

There are quite a few Members in the TEESSIDE and surrounding

areas but if you know any other Members on briskoda.net who are unaware

of the Meet or if you have Friends or Family who own an SKODA

then get them down to enjoy the company of like minded owners.

We have adopted the basic rules for the New Meet that are used by other forums

Meets this is to make sure we represent SKODA - TEESSIDE in a good manner.

1. NO ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOR

2. NO WHEEL SPINS

3. NO BURN-OUTS

4. NO DOHNUTS

5. NO DANGEROUS MANUVERS (Handbrake turns etc)

6. NO BLASTING SOUND SYSTEMS

7. DO DRINK RESPONSIBLY

ANY BREACH THESE RULES AND YOU WILL BE BANNED

FROM ATTENDING FUTURE MEETS AND YOU WILL BE

REPORTED TO ADMIN ON HERE.

i'm sure this will be a good meet and, i would have been there if i was not flying out of the country on that very morning to work, i'll be at the ones when im home.

Awwwwwww that is son un-fairrrr!!! hahaha, I'll come along to this, better leave the traction control on and pull away in 4th though or I may breach that wheel spinning bit.

What's the full meeting point postcode please?

Just checking - is anyone eating, as my wife and nippers will need to have some lunch!

The nearest Postcode I've found is TS18 2QW. This is for the Barrage White Water course. As far as I know we are meeting in a Car Park on Navigation Way. You do not go across the bridge to get to it, but take the next exit on the roundabout and this should lead you to it (turn left just after the exit).

Unless we go for a drive, none of us will be eating, but there are plenty of places, close by, at Teesside Park or Stockton that do. I'm guessing you thought 'The Navigation Way' was a pub. It's not, it's a road!

just look out for a beige octavia 08 as i'll should be there for about 12.50 to meet and greet people and am nervous

the road to turn onto is called maze lane then you will see navigation way sign ,below is link to pic of carpark we will be in hope this helps .
