installed paddle shifter extensions

I fitted mine, didn't like them and took them off. No my thing when I got them on really.

Looks like I will be trying to sell them on ebay or something.

Had the same result. I thought they would solve the problem of the existing paddles never being within easy reach (only with your little finger) when holding the wheel at quarter to three. The extensions were easy to fit but a long drive showed their limitations. On a slight righthand bend the wiper stalk gets in the way and likewise the lighting stalk on lefthand bends. THERE IS VERY LITTLE CLEARANCE!

I've taken them off and boxed them up.If anyone wants to try them send me a PM and you can have them.

I suspect the first hot weather we get and they would fall off. Might be worth bonding them on with something. They do look good though.

3M VHB tape should not fall off. VHB = Very High Bond. The shear strength of this adhesive is incredible. We used it for taping plastic lining to steel out shells and it would shatter the plastic before breaking.

You have to use the correct type though - plastic to plastic, plastic to steel, plastic to alloy etc. So if you have been able to remove it is because the type is incorrect.

I have a set of these going spare if someone wants to pm me .... Unused as I've opted for the oris Alu ones !!
