As I am a big fan of FPS's on PC platform I was wondering if there are any other Briskie members playing FPS games on PC platform.

My favourite now is Battlefield 3. Tak the same as on the forums here, Jabozuma.

Let me know if you are playing so we could perhaps meet up on-line and kick some ar$e under Briskie banner

Beware, you may get a severe case of addiction - it sucks you in, especially with new tech letting yui to set up the quality to max and still have insane FPS counts .

I need new machine as after 6 years the CPU finally gave up being overclocked from 2.66 to 3.5 lol. Still works but stock only :(

I'm usually assault or engineer, you gotta find the right game on Metro, being raped at on end is no fun, although some servers nuke the map if it goes on too long.

I still love caspian border, karand and Oman, Ill have a go on anything really though.

I'm not always consistent when playing though, sometimes I'm a stone cold killer and other times I can be the noob lol

Same here ! When on a good roll I am usulay within first 3. Normally somwhere in the middle.

With good players, Metro is proper tense!

I'm usually top 40%, but not played in a while. Normally engineer, or medic, but my sniping skills are getting better

I play a bit of BF3 every now and then, been stuck into DayZ at the minute though. Not really a Metro fan but dont mind wiping the dust off the guns once and a while, prefer the big maps with the Choppers and Jets.

Its just a voice comm you use to communicated with each other, makes team work a little easier, but no not a problem.

I used TS since its inception, when I had time to be a clan member and doing online tournaments in CoD, years ago. Integration of team voice coms into BF was my main feedback when I did Alpha testing for BF3. I also severely criticised that pathetic browser based stats etc interface and origin-pity they ignored me...

We played few maps together with David8 last night, good fun! You are much better at getting kills than me mate . It looks like I am more of a support/sniper type than front line berserker My K/D Ration sucks so much it is painful to look at lol.

My K/D ratio is low from my noob days, it took me months to get the mouse set up right, over engineered hardware lol, and sometimes you just can't kill for trying I find, I'm a little head strong sometimes and just dive in balls deep, usually get wasted around the first corner, I'm glad I joined your game as I seemed to have completely forgot about H/C mode, killing is some much easier on it, I think I'll go for that for a while and rack up some kills.

I used to Love battlefield and Bad company but ever since i bought Battlefield 3 when it 1st came out, it was plagued with bugs. I couldnt actually play it for about 3 months after release. "Application failed" "Could not connect to server" I've never got back into it since that. I dont think I'll ever buy another battlefield or Bad company game again.

I was busy reviving, ammo supplying and getting flags so was ahead in points but had like 0-10 K/D Ratio lol.

Dave went ba11$ deep as he poetically described and overttok me rather quickly with positive K/D Ration by the time the game ended .

Funny thing is that I thought I was joining your game lol.

We need to try get some more bodies, get TS to work and act a a team. Team play is the Kong in this game.

I was Alpha teting BF3 and those were my comments, difficulty to connect, server errors, crap browser interface, Origina spyware ( as it later transpired...). Problem is they are so big now they do not care that much anymore.

You should have seen how buggy it was at Alpha, ridiculous hit boxes, 3D models fubbared to hell (coudln't jump over things, to go around trees you had to go few widths away ), HP problems, nade splash damage problems). In other words retail product is a pleaseure to play with and they did some work on web interface as well. Still think you should be able to do ALL from within the game!

I dunno, I quite like battlelog now, I was horrified at the thought, but it does allow me to alt-tab out and do other stuff whilst the game still runs, which is very helpful to me personnally, and it lets you get set up before going in.

As for team work ..... what team work, no-one bothers lol

If you gotta a headset its a much better squad experience, IIRC Babs, his mate and I got best squad on our first and last outing.
