After I bought my new spec PC I was very tempted to buy BF3 for the comp and move over from the xbox, but I will feel proper annoyed having to start again seen as I'm now a Lvl 28 Colonel and on god knows how many service stars for the kit's...

A Challange! Lvl 28 is rather quick anyways. Are you sure there is no way of using the same account on your PC? I have no clue, never played console .

That's Lvl 28 Colonel, meaning I've done the 50 rank's through the normal rankings and then done the stupid amount of XP (230.000) per rank afterwards haha. Currently on 330hr's play time how sad of me :( Nah you can't use the same account which is a shame as I'd be on in a flash

I was thinking first 20 levels, not some colonel or other general types I have no clue about abviously - as david8 can confirm I am not the sharpest tool in the shed for pulling that trigger, not to mention my machine is not fas enough and seeing only 2 frames out of every three dispalyed sucks a bit .... All four cores banging against 100% load when I play..Changing graphics details setting does nothing so it must be CPU limit...

It was a little flaky sunday/monday, mine settled back down now

I played Wednesday evening and it was better, still dropping frames but better.

I tried to OC mine again. Tried all sots of tricks but cannot get it up even by 1 MHz ! Never seen anything like that... :(

IIRC there is no ram OCing on the newer chips, or something like that lol

Slightly off topic but do any of you know why my ram isn't running at full speed? Should be 1600mhz and I see I can do it in the BIOS but I can't find the option to make it that so it's currently at 1333mhz. PC runs fine but would like it doing at least what the box says it can

I've bought BF3 and all the DLC so far. Had it for £18 and a few pence. I'll install it once I get home

Tried them all, including Gigabyte's own Win based OC tool - doesn't work. Not a Mhz more... Well, BF3 is just playable sooo, next year is a must upgrade. this year I am hoping for SSD and W8 install

Lol! I'd like to say I'll be around this weekend sometime but since my mother came up with some bright idea of me doing furniture removals I can't guarantee anything. Been playing campaign and it's taken me a while to get into using a keyboard again for gaming. Getting better but by no means good
