  • Right, after my annoyance at the organisers' letting us out at Combe, and wishing to at least have a truly 100% brisky session along with a smidge of tracktime desire, I'm up for this. Won't be a work

  • We've had the practice times, we've had the hot lap times, now we have possibly the most important table of all (for obvious reasons), the improvement between practice and hot lap times 01. +5.317 -

Offer of the Leon wheels still stands.

I've even got a trolley jack and impact wrench to make the change over even easier!! ;)

Also had all the confirmations / payment taken.

Booked in, they are taking payments today or tomorrow, so if like me you are a middle of the month pay day then call them and they can postpone until date given.

happy days.

13...... hope we get another booking in.

Are they taking everybodies payment tomorrow?

I've had all the confirmations too :)

So we have paid then? I haven't noticed any money gone out

Me Devon, and Sharky have had their payments taken today as per the post above.

However Dave and Lolli's post suggest that they will still be taking some payments tomorrow.

If you haven;t had all the paperwork come through on email James then i they haven't taken your payment yet, but the likelihood is they will tomorrow

Well, when I say "taken" I got the worldpay confirmation, but checking my statement online this evening, the money hasn't physically been taken off my card yet. Will probably happen tomorrow. There is usually 24 hours / 48 hours between using my card and it appearing. :)

Hmm no confirmation for me......worrying as I was the second or third person to book in

Hi All,

Had my confirmation from Worldpay and MSV

Craig

I haven't, they are obviously working through the list. :)

Is there any kind of trackside available for this for spectators to go along but not actually take part??

No, you have to stand in the pits.

I don't think spectating is encouraged but you could get a lift in with a driver and look/take pics from the pit wall.

Cheers BossFox, i might make the trip up and see about doing that.

If you're making the trip up John just take part in the event ;)

Yes, Pasty is taking part so there will be people to overtake. :)

Does make a good photo though.

I seem to remember going past the pits looking at it. :D

Have fun at this one fellas, Just bought 4 brand new tyres for mine and don't wish

to ruin them here, I'd rather get a few miles out of my £500 worth of rubber.

yeah very quick right hander on to the start/finish straight + moisture + cold R888s = pointing the wrong way

...and don't wish to ruin them here

In case you're not green fingered Garry that is a pansy! ;)

and we were just about to open the doors to non Skoda driving members too

It's not very hard on tyres Gary.

20-30 minutes of practice spread over an hour and two hard laps.

You've got 4WD anyway, so minimal slip.

It's not very hard on tyres Gary.

So I'm being told by many here. I'm seriously considering jjust arrving 100% stock on my current tyres. Plus side is I'd get to evaluate the performance of a 100% stock MK2 vRS :)

20-30 mins, is that all in actual track time??

It's an hour practice.

But you can't drive for an hour, the car will need a few short breaks.

We all use road tyres only.

Other than me the first time on 888s that were cack in the damp.

It's for fun.

Just put track tyres on if you get upset if someone beats you and hope it doesn't rain. :D

(not sure I see the point though based on my experience)
