  • Right, after my annoyance at the organisers' letting us out at Combe, and wishing to at least have a truly 100% brisky session along with a smidge of tracktime desire, I'm up for this. Won't be a work

  • We've had the practice times, we've had the hot lap times, now we have possibly the most important table of all (for obvious reasons), the improvement between practice and hot lap times 01. +5.317 -

  • I need something to cheer me up Just to bring this to the front as it's several pages back... 1. BossFox - Booked In 2. CRAIGROBBO - Booked In 3. PastyBoy - Booked In 4. M12MKD - Booked In 5.

How old is he? Asking as I might be taking mine as well :) He's 10

he will be 18. I know, I don't look old enough lol.

18 will be fine, he can passenger if he sits in on the driver briefing I believe and gets an armband.

Not so sure about 10. Think you have to be 14 to be onsite. Best phone MSV and check.

At the circuit there is no spectator area, so non-drivers only option is standing in the pits and looking over the wall.

Here you go Jabo:

4. Can I bring an additional driver/passengers/spectators?

You can bring additional drivers and passengers to all our track days. Ideally they should be pre-booked so we know the number of people who will be attending an event. However, if you have booked a track day and wish to bring someone along that has not been booked, then they can be paid for on the day.

Spectators are also welcome at all of our events, except events held at Bedford Autodrome.

All passengers must at least 14 years of age except events held at Bedford Autodrome where the minimum age is 16.

So no spectators and minimum age of 16 for How Fast.

Thanks for the reply Richard, looks like he will have to be a passenger seat driver lol, BUT wait, that is weight and weight slows things down, he can stay at home.

Once he is in and has done a bit of "passengering", he can watch from the pit wall on the hot laps... with the other drivers. :)

I am not usually competitive but when you only have 180bhp amongst a field of much more BHP cars every gram counts lol.

I will fetch him with me, he will enjoy himself as he missed my Oulton Park day.

On the first How Fast day when it was little damp a stock mkII Fab VRS won.

All the big power cars couldn't get the power down...

So you never know. :D

Thanks for the leg work (err click work? :D ). He will stay home then. He's currently abusing my G25 Steering Wheel on a variety of games and he's much faster than me at every single one of them. Shame he stopped go-karting as Anthony Hamilton promised to manage him till he becomes F1 champ. But seeing how Vettel and his own son turned out perhaps it is for the better ...

I will try to sort out the booking on Friday :)

Pub looks nice :).

Would be good to see you there sharkrider!

How about here for lunch and banter afterwards?

Yes, it's looking like this will be it's first time out.

Looking good! Pub sounds a good idea for lunch.

I won't be making this for one reason or another, much as I would dearly love to :(

You'll be missed Brimma, if for nothing else but to make me look good ;-)

As Richard said power is nothing without control, my vrs is diesel and albeit apart for different alloys and tyres, its standard was still the 3rd fastest Skoda of 2012.

I'd bet money on Richard keeping his crown this year.....in the citigo.

just got the time off yay! will call and book my place tomorow...

Good news then! The ranks are swelling to healthy numbers. Few more and Škoda exclusive:)
