Just an idea do  these columbus units need a code to be entered when they are disconnected from the cars battery supply ? i was just wondering.

I like the idea of adapting the torx head to prevent easy removal,has given me an idea.

Maybe a sticker on the passenger window stating that the columbus unit has increased security measures.

Stereo looks different

Parking screen seems to have finer lines/grids for distance to objects

Touch screen is SUPER SENSITIVE now!

I just use my finger nails and it works superb!!

Bad bits:

Window not open fully (sticks out by 5cm)

2. Version of SatNav?

Press and hold setup for 20 secs. It will have a hdd, probably 40 gb. Look for a four digit map number, should be 7918.

I remember i held down SETUP on my old stereo ...

Looks very new on the hardware and software front too.

I think i found the HDD.

Basically before as new (no cd / SD inserted),

When u press the MEDIA button - its says NO MEDIA FOUND.

Once i inserted a SD card this morning - then the menu of :

SD CD HDD MEDIA BLUETOOTH

Then appeared.

Stuck DVD in there and it works :-)
