ahh don't worry wayne, the amount of time she has been in there i take it that she will be gleaming, take it since you have metallic paint they sprayed the whole side of the car to match the colour on the rest of the pannels, should be good

Setting off to pickup Audrey.

Everything sounds kosher on phone.

Just not happy that the bolt hole snapped:

- thy still don't know what the issue is

- thy think I have to pay to fix

Cost if I pay for issue (inclusive fitted):

1. £90 to fix loose headlight washer cover

2. £135 for cracked rear light cluster

3. £1.90 for note clipper (parts only)

4. £95 replace fog light condensation

5. £26 wipers (due missing parts of screen).

Are wipers £25 good price compared with buying Bosch myself?

At my last service six weeks ago by a local Skoda dealer I got a phone call to say my wipers needed doing as well. I've just checked my bill and I was charged £17.25 for one £13.35 for the other

Will need to go back to find missing bolt to fit (they lost the one i mask taped to trim - eeek).

Surely this tacky stuck to underside of parcel shelf hook will simply rip off if hung any shopping bags? Eeeek!

Matt from Skoda apologise unreservely for the delay - very busy and its never happened before.

Plus so many ppl got involved it just got a bit chaotic...about 6weeks?

She looks lovely and they do seem to have done a good job in the pics you posted. Would be good to see a full length view of the damaged side to see that the paint blend is spot on.

The orange peel looks just as bad as my Audi's.

That lug is not to hold the shopping, you hook the floor carpet to it when you get the spare wheel out and it holds it up out of the way whilst you get the wheel and toolkit out. The shopping hooks are on the side of the boot.
