  • Ta da. This happened this afternoon, I'm very pleased it.     Luckily I was able to pull off the main road and stop at the right time. My Maths was obviously right when I reset the trip.

  • I had to do this once I realised it was possible.............(i.e. I hadn't passed the mileage yet, so could reset the T1):

  • TaDa     As you can see I've dusted too! :p

Awesome pics everyone. The title is getting changed now, wish I had put it in the OT section though....

LOL!

Man, I would be p1ssed if that happened to me..............

:giggle:

I was nursing that bad boy for 888 odd miles to have it ruined, I was not best pleased I can tell you. I stopped in the space it was all looking promising to time it perfectly to get a good clear picture, I thought I had cracked it but only realised AFTER I took the picture...... :@

On this night, year of our Skoda 2013, at 1900 CET.

Behold the odometer porn!

That is all!!!

***EDIT***

This is not the picture I posted originally, someone suggested I should edit it to show BIG speed to see how long before a troll appeared condemning it, hence the when you look at it twice dodgy looking '2' as it was a '2' off another pic from the 1/2 mark on fuel gauge. The '1' for 15mpg is the 1 from 1900 at top. I was thinking someone would twig the '2' is wrong and lighter. This did put my MS Paint skills to the test I might add! But since no one decided to bite I might as well show the original pic I posted lol.

ps. Well done all for no one being a fuss pot!

Found it!

OMFG! If I had of thought more about it I would have changed time on clock :D

That would be so much fun being asked for the mileage and being able to say, "one, one, one, one.....!"

I had that in one of my Escorts and it was it's second trip around :giggle:

I should have some pics on a hard drive somewhere of an old Xantia dash pod I replaced, clocked old one to all the 9's I think and left it on top shelf of work station.

Impressively sad tbh lol but gives me something to do :giggle:

I just reset the trip today in the Berb as it clicked on to 88,000 miles so roll on 88,888 888.8 but I've only got 14 days to do it cos it goes back to the lease firm on 31 May and the New Octy III is currently waiting at Grimsby for a lift to the dealer! :giggle:

Had to get a photo as mine was on this today:

I know, I had planned on it but totally forgot to reset the trip when I was supposed to! Very very annoying!

The Superb went back before hitting the magic number! Will have to see what I can come up with on the new one!
