Ok, for everyone that asks "What colour should my grille surround be?" I have now changed mine from Chrome to Black and now it's White. The current white look is definitely my favourite I think:

Yea the black grille pick was taken with a decent camera the white one was a snap on the phone.

The problem I find with black grilles is that they look great from some distances/angles and overkill in others (usually up close). That said, I'd kind of decided I didn't like them until I was stood nex to a blue Fabia VRS with one.

I like both, but not which one I like more. I've got mine in white at the moment but been thinking about going black.

Glossy black but then id say get the mirrors done to match. Well thats what im gettin done as we type. Shud be gettin mine back on weds. Its gettin wrapped. Mine will have a glossy blk matching roof too and the wheels are currently gettin a refurb and sprayed glossy blk

Definitely white man...looks great. Chrome doesn't look as nice on the white Octavias as it does on the black, IMO

There is no splitter although it needs one from super skoda

Sorry I meant It looks good with the black mirrors and would look good with a splitter as well (trying to type on a bloody mobile). I have an LCR splitter screwed on the bottom of mine and I like the extra depth it gives to the front...it would look well on yours I suspect.

Car looks real nice, i must admit i was thinking about getting my black vrs wrapped in white.
