Hello!

I have my new Fabia VRS on order (very excited to buy a new car!) and was of course offered the paint protection from the dealer for the 'knock-down' price of £200 (should be £400). I had heard that these protection products can be very effective if properly applied and had also heard that dealers do not always do the best job in getting this done.

So that brings me to my question...

I have only basic experience in car washing and polishing (the occasional turtle wax or similar) and currently live in a flat with underground parking - nice and dry and reasonably lit, but no real access to water or electricity... I'm not sure I would be confident to apply the protection/cleaning products myself so is there anyone in the Hampshire/Surrey/Berkshire area (I'm in Basingstoke) that offers this service at their place/premises or mobile? I would be very happy to be an assistant in the process and learn how to do it!!

A quick google search revealed a few Ferrari/Porsche/very expensive type adverts but as a soon to be new Skoda owner I thought this would be a great place to look for advice!
